  1. Started off like it could be ok but rapidly declined to very boring, also the cinematography was really poor. Some of the sets you could just imagine the cameras were offscreen. It looked terrible. Some of the new digital filming looks terrible imo, worse than TV and movies used to look like.
  2. New Jack City 1991 - Surprisingly good still. Its dated but in a good way in that it really captures that time. The look, music etc. The soundtrack is great. Strong cast. Its a bit over the top and obvious at times and verges on the blaxploitation genre but overall a great movie still. The cinematography still looks good and must of had a decent budget in its day, some of these older movies have far better cinematography than newer digital movies or TV series. Theres a lot still to be said for real film compared to digital.
  3. What sort of jail time are these clowns getting if any? Are they banned from air travel for a lengthy time at least? or is it like most things feck all basically
  4. any recomendations for car rental companies at Edinburgh airport, I usually use enterprise and its always been ok, no hassle and reliable but a bit pricey. Trying to reduce costs so looking for cheaper alternative if any
  5. Im always suspicious of Polls and Im not sure the SNP will face as bad an election as is at times predicted. The times has an article on this polling and theres a few points stand out. Voting the Tories out is a priority it seems for a lot of voters in Scotland and thats why Labour is being considered. Regardless of how Salmond is viewed now, his time as FM is looked on as being well run and Indy was always moving forward. Now the SNP is looked on as having "run out of steam" under Sturgeon. Yousaf as FM hasnt changed that and maybe made it seem even worse and leaderless at the moment. I wonder how many SNP members who voted for Yousaf are happy with where the party is now?. Did anyone on here want Yousaf as leader and how do they think he is doing? Whats the general consensus on him so far within the SNP voter base?
  6. there cant be a god as why would they make life be so shite that we have to spend it on computers or phones on here, doesnt make any sense
  7. they cant use the fell through a window excuse, or if they do it will be he fell through the window and then through the bars also
  8. I dont see Humza producing anything thats going to inspire a new push towards independence and I dont see him being competent enough in the day to day running to show any particular sign of good governance. So as it stands its a slow dive going on for the SNP. That wont chnage as things are. Hes been in nearly a year now and it would be difficult to know what he even stands for and the lack of energy or inspiration is clear now.
  9. Its all well and good but the choice is only a Labour or a Tory government. No one not even the most ardent SNP fan believes currently that the SNP are going to deliver indy anytime soon. So overall its clearly better Labour win over the Tories and it will make a difference, not as much as we may hope but it will be far better after the absolute shitshow the tories have given us. It will also be better for Labour to get a clear majority. It will make a difference for some of those most at need. The SNP dont offer anything currently and thats also repeated regulary by SNP voters who frequently state on here and elsewhere theres nothing they can do with the powers they have. After that then lets see maybe then the SNP will be worth a vote again if it gets its act together but as of now with the choices available.
  10. That was basically my point, it would be a great question to blindside him with on live tv
  11. Id be surprised if Trump even knew the words to the star spangled banner
  12. Never heard that but have spent some time following the parties and weighed it all up and come to that conclusion, I always keep an open mind though so will still review when election time comes but if it was tomorrow. Theres no doubt Id vote Labour.
  13. Ive said before on here I have always been for indy but never been a SNP or Alba fan , however I voted SNP while I thought indy had a chance. I mentioned months back I was considering labour then due to the simple reason I think theres more chance at moment of Labour making a difference for better throughout UK Scotland included, than the SNP offer. That the tories get wiped out by Labour is needed. I was willing to give Humza a chance but im pretty much certain now im voting Labour unless by some miracle Humza makes me feel independence is close (more chance of winning the lottery). I dont see any risk to not voting snp in regards indy moving further away. Infact I hope the snp lose a lot of seats and learn from it and come back stronger and better and do actually move things forward in the elections to come after these. So in some ways it can be argued its going to be quicker to independence that the snp get a shoeing now than we limp along for years treading water with these clowns and never going anywhere
  14. Its sad how bad the diversity in nature is in UK, from massive over population in the south of England and still they talk about building more homes on more unused land. To Scotland and miles and miles of empty hills and still nowhere near enough variety of trees and plants being planted. The stuff posted on here about Salmon farms is shocking, I didnt realise it had got that bad. They really need every council in UK to focus on this and improve
  15. Thats the thing then, it reeks of incompetence hard to believe really
  16. if they were recorded or filmed then no need for minutes, were these?
  17. I dont really get how they werent keeping minutes from meetings like the gold command meetings. Any meeting, its such a basic thing to do and in government you would expect it even more. Add that to everything else and its a drip feed over last few years of an amateurish and incompetent set-up. Is it because with its success the SNP expanded relatively quickly and basically when that happened too many people at once didnt have a clue what they were doing
  18. Havent seen any of it yet but heard Aamer Anwar on radio Scotland, he was slating her
