  1. We just need Queens Park to lose one match and 4 points will do us fine. I can’t see a play-off troubling us should it come to that. The last couple of home matches have been very encouraging regardless of the result tonight - the team appear to have clicked to some extent.
  2. The players you mentioned would make a huge difference to any championship club excluding us, as Ferguson would try and shoehorn them into right or left central midfield just like Shaw. I am curious to see if DF is willing to adapt tactics next season. The overly defensive style is relatively understandable in a relegation scrap, but there’s surely no way it’s creative enough to raise the club anywhere near promotion. We’ve been treated to Dan Mackay, Logan Chalmers, Shaw and Henderson - another season of Wallace Duffy wingback, no thanks.
  3. If Ferguson avoids relegation he deserves to remain next season in my opinion - after all that was his remit when appointed. Regardless of the above I’m not looking forward to him staying beyond this season. I can’t stand the style / tactics, he’s dropped some of the worst performances and there’s been far too many to be considered blips. We are consistently honking and everyone knows it. I think outwith a couple, his transfer dealings have been poor. His man management by the sounds of things is seriously lacking too. I could go on. Obviously a full pre season and summer transfer window can address things but he hasn’t inspired much confidence in me but I’ll support him should he stay.
  4. We had one more shot on target today than our previous four home matches combined. Excellent as Mr Dunc would say.
  5. He brought that on himself favouring his signings that are no better than what we already had. A good win down at Ayr and then he decided to chop up a perfectly capable team.
  6. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind Mr Fergusons men will be taking something from this match today, never have I been more confident.
  7. I’m not the slightest bit concerned about relegation via the play offs - there’s no chance those jokers take us down imo. However, I am extremely concerned about the prospect of having to watch this team an additional 4 times, that’s something I simply cannot cope with.
  8. I suspect 39 points should see us avoid the bottom two with our goal difference. Eight of the horniest 0-0 draws please Mr Dunc.
  9. A decent result today considering we were relegated last weekend. I hope it encourages some of (I presume Section 94) to attend matches and support the team, rather than vent desperation for club statements on what was formerly Twitter.
  10. Morton have only picked up 4 more points than us since Mr Dunc was appointed. I wish Morton all the best for the remainder of the season but that statistic hopefully allows folk to recognise Morton aren’t all that.
  11. There is absolutely no way Inverness lose today. I have never been more confident of points in my life.
  12. I can’t wrap my head around it either. The new system tightened up our defence and I don’t believe the new defenders are any better or worse than what we already had. They seem slightly pointless signings currently. The formation is ridiculously boring I agree - totally understand it for away matches but not home matches. I was surprised to read on social media some folk claiming things were better under Billy Dodds, they craved for an identity and now we have it. Wingers please.
  13. The budget was cut this season apparently and I do exonerate Dodds from much of the transfer market dealings as we had a director of football above him. In regards to your last paragraph, if results and performances are still shite in 1 year you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be going down on the Big Dunc Ship just like Mr Dodds’!
  14. The obvious difference is we have a clear style / formation now which has been alluded to above. I mainly attend home matches and it’s been tough viewing for the most part. The target under Dodds was promotion and under Ferguson avoid relegation, so it’s difficult to compare much. I would just say if Dodds was in charge for some of Fergusons performances and results this season some folk on this thread would’ve imploded.
