Charlie Wilson's War - Enjoyed it enough, to keep me awake last night, when I was pretty tired. Most of the cast were excellent. 6/10

No Country for Old Men - 7/10 Enjoyable and well made. One of the best "baddies" I've seen in a movie in ages too.

I was pretty shocked when I read the fund was covering their living expenses and paying them a wage. Especially as she is now looking at a career change, in a lower paid field, and he can't decide whether to return to work. Was it ever agreed that the fund would pay for their legal fees? I seem to remember there needed to be a vote from the board of the trust, but I don't think I ever read of the outcome.

I read the other day that they are both using the fund, to cover their living expenses, while they are not working...Was this stated prior to the collection of funds? I hope the kidnapper hasn't changed his clothes in the last 5 months...

On radio 5 earlier: 'We need to end all this speculation and stick to the facts! Well I'm pretty sure she's got a lot of time on her hands, seeing as she can't get out of her seat, so maybe's she's been studying international law..... Then again I doubt her fat fingers can turn the page of a book.

Yesterday's NOTW had an interview with Gerry McCann, which had this classic line in it " (Gerry) KNOWS that, amazingly, under local laws they may have cobbled together enough to charge them.!"

Maybe, I just hope they get the pope to play himself, to add to the realism of the story...

Surely bringing Steve Guttenburg out of retirement would be a good shout for Gerry McCann.

Either way, whether its the parents as the focus of the article/TV slot, or the little girl, they are both instantly linked. They're keeping the search for her in the headlines, which is their main aim. I would disagree that the search for her has become a side issue.

Advising them badly...? Despite being still on the front page of the national news? Seems like pretty good advice they're taking.
