Granny Danger The far left will not be elected. We need vote winning centre left parties. There is no point in going far left and ending up with the far right in charge of the country. I am centre-left. but most people will not support a far-left government. You have to win over the population. If Labour elects far-left leaders we will end up with far-right governments. The SNP are not far left. They are centre left. They do not nationalise the means of productions, or bring in far left policies. The far left does not work anymore in winning elections if it ever did. I am centre-left,. but I know most people are quite right wing. We are not going to win elections with unpopular policies. If we had a Tony Blair without the Iraq War I would be happy. Tony Blair domestically was OK. But his foreign policy was not. If Starmer is like Blair without the Iraq War, I will be happy. Blair brought in with Brown, tax credits, increased spending on health and education, the mini wage, peace in Northern Ireland, devolution, increased foreign aid. It was just his War on Iraq that ruined it for me.

Starmer is a good sensible human rights respecting, compassionate leader. I think he will make a good PM.

LiviLion. Then why do UEFA give tens of millions to clubs in the Champions League? You say no organisation would give tens of millions to Scottish clubs when it already happens. If we had a trophy with the Dutch, Belgians, Portuguese, Swiss, Poles, Austrians, Scandinavians, Danes, we could create a trophy that generated tens of millions foe Scottish sides. And if EPL sides not in Europe played they would add wealth to the trophy. You have to be ambitious not just a quitter who gives up on Scotland achieving anything in football. Hearts made 3.5 million from the Europa Conference League group stages in 6 matches. If we had a 12 match a season trophy for Scottish clubs with teams from other countries then we could make millions of quid for Scottish clubs each. The EPL sides make 100 million a year from 38 games. If a similar trophy could be done with big teams from across Europe, we could aim for a third of that for each club. Or at least the top clubs like Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs and Dundee United. Furthemore I am not Darren from Leicester. I have never pretended to be a Darren from Leicester, ever. Snide remarks are not a debate.

I am centre-left. I support labour and devolution. The far-right see the working class as criminals and parasites. That is how they see us. The far right want tax cuts for the rich and to decimate public services used by working and middle class people. Boris described the British working class as criminal, drunk and hopeless. The far right think the poor are parasites, lazy and stupid. And that poverty is their own fault. Plus Boris edited a magazine that published a poem calling for the extermination of the Scottish. The for night nationalists have hate towards Scotland and try to claim it is not a real nation.
