  1. He has been Fifes best player. He would stroll L1 and I'd fully expect him to be sent to a Championship side. He needs to bulk up for the rigours of SPL, a summer in the gym may be on the cards.
  2. Alex Ferguson has been the best and most consistent player this season for Fife. Reminds me of a Murray Davidson at Livingston many years ago. If he fills out a bit I can see him in your first team.
  3. Delighted with this. Was a wee bit worried about this game. Seems the manager of the month curse strikes again! We are grinding out results and can see positive light between us and the bottom of the table, looking at these 3rd and 4th spots now.
  4. Massive 3 points. I like the Rovers and feel all the games this season have been close affairs. Hopefully we kick on from here. Slattery impactive on last 2 performances, gives more than Miller.
  5. Hopefully McDonald does the decent thing if we get beat. A loanee from a lowland league B team who have in the main been pumped most weeks. Outstanding! Now I'm waiting on the custard pie as we beat one of the better teams in this dire league!
  6. I'm not so certain clubs will want to send their decent talent to us. Playing in a poor side with poor management fighting relegation. If we do get anyone it will be players they are looking to shift or release like what we've got this season.
  7. Desparation springs to mind. Standby for more loanees from St Johnstone who mostly bring nothing!
  8. Embarressing, wĥat a waste of my time and hard earned cash! Won't be at another away game till he is gone. Players out of position, no plan, subs unused, real lack of effort. Team look resigned to defeat so he's obviously not a motivator like the Darvel guy. Perhaps he should watch that video. He must be sacked immediately.
  9. What a great post. Totally agree re all. The form and results are dreadful, teams win games in hand and it becomes very worrying. Brechin and Cowden went very sharply, I now fear the same. Yes the league is poor with the exception of a couple of teams but this cannot be allowed to continue. Forfar and Stenny took action, bringing in experienced managers. Forfar, imo, will easily reach the play offs. Naysmith will also turn the Warriors around. Mcdonald won't, players getting games when they shouldn't be anywhere near the team. The signing of Omar when not even fit, the dropping of Denham, Healy and Newton, the failure to play and loaning of Williamson, the continual inclusion of loanees who are hopeless and the lack of game plan, the dreadful lack of subs (changed a bit) all evidence of bad management. I'm not even sure players care now, especially those who turn up knowing they'll get a game and those treated shabbily to accomodate them. Bonnyrigg may be the saving grace, we shouldn't be relying on others being worse than us.
  10. Same all season, ominous unless something changes in the next 45. Players out of position and dross getting game time. How Denham isn't playing is a scandal!
  11. A decent point! Really, at home to Stenhousemuir.......... Fleming has won us a lot of points this season or the situation would be far worse.
  12. From my source, well worth the 3 points and even Steven played well. I'll give the next few games a miss and hope the good fortune continues.
  13. Get this as he's warming the bench every week and in a similar situation to Cunningham. Surprised he didn't get a contract extension! On the other hand on the evidence of pre season, best LB at club, won an 18 month deal, other options have been woeful and we don't start him! Bizarre. Hopefully there is a better option on it's way.
  14. At last recognition that that area of the park has required drastic action. Short term fix till end of season. Good luck and welcome.
  15. No worries, thought you'd got a retro "Guess Who" for Christmas and were pushing it's purpose to the extreme!
  16. Worst performing team in the league, manager clueless, team selection week on week beggars belief. Steele was decent last outing, for a change, then on the bench! Some will say 3 points from 3rd, but it's 3 points from 9th and most teams have some shape of form. Slowly sliding to lowland league, no decent player will touch the club. Dictation of loan players playing status needs to cease.
  17. Us and Stenhousemuir worst form teams in the league, crowd below 400 on Saturday (various potential reasons for that) and continues with more or less the same line up week in, week out. Dropped one of our more threatening players who was MOM the week previously! 2 loanees on the bench who need sent back, if he's not fancying them try and get others in. Glaring issues in defence and persists on playing some players in unnatural positions. Maybe it is early days as manager but would guess he had an input in squad build under Crawford. We are not an attractive proposition for players coming in January. Hopefully history doesn't repeat.
  18. Easy for Annan. Every time they went forward we looked shaky. At Stirling we looked relatively solid apart from left back. He totally changes the shape, brings Steele straight back who wipes Miller out and causes the loss of the first goal. To top it off gets caught out over the top AGAIN for the third and the guy waltzes past him without challange! No sharpness either, woeful. January will be crucial, don't see many fancying joining and think some will want to leave for game time. 1 sub again is crazy when it's crying out for change. Only plus points:- 1. St Johnstone pay Stevens wages cos he came on. Why not Schiavone who is better and has scored goals? 2 Goss miss was a belter. 3. Annan no.9 hairstyle was like something from the 80's. Beat Shepherds at Stenny by a mile.
  19. So he's happy sitting on the bench watching that cos he might get a testimonial.....
  20. Great that he is going to hopefully get game time. Bizarre about the contract extension but fair play. Think Slattery and Williamson will follow suit and await what comes in in January to better what's there.
  21. Should have a point. Dominated possession for large parts of the game then sucker punched when pressing for the equaliser. Murdoch looked decent in at CB and gave an element of confidence. What outdone us yesterday was the lack of cutting out crosses from our left hand side. Healy and Newton didn't manage that in the first 15 and it killed us. Thankfully when Balde switched that seemed to give Newton an element of protection. Agree with the earlier comment re lack of subs.
  22. Morning Mr E lovely to hear from you. I wasn't at the game but from reports Balde was indeed the standout so fair play and congratulations to him on his two goals. I apologise when I genuinely do something wrong so in expressing an opinion I'm afraid it won't be forthcoming on this occasion. Unfortunate for us allowing him to take the penalty, very naive decision but I see the sentiment. On the game from the highlights, never a red in a million years. It does further the case of poor refeeeing and defending by Steele getting caught again with a ball over the top. I notice Steven coming on, if as another suggests this is to do with game time / wage payments then he needs to go back. Adds nothing and it's time Cunningham got a run out. Be interesting to see how we shape up next week as Stirling will be gutted at losing to Annan.
