Final is on:
1st leg Thursday 23rd May 8pm kick-off
2nd leg Sunday 26th May kick-off tbc
Sure the Ross County v Partick 2nd leg last year kicked off at 16-30 o not sure why kick off irrespective of whos playing would be different unless Sky are deciding

I believe the justification for it is the SPFL needed the money from gate receipts to be put towards the parachute payment for the 11th placed team if they got relegated. The parachute payment is something like £500k in year 1 and £250k in year 2 and I suspect there would be clubs not willing to agree to the playoffs being introduced if all that money came from their prize money.
Read somewhere that Dundee Utd only received a total of 300 k parachute payment

VAR was used in both legs. Not got a scooby who paid for it to be in place at Firhill

Apart from the chance of Airdrie pipping Partick for 3rd place,Utd having already won the league, live on the box its a dead rubber so think thats a respectable crowd

Could have asked for a goal or even maybe two but again we got the lucky defensive breaks. Fortunate to get a point and despite coming in second we are going to struggle in the Championship play off never mind the final one unless things improve dramatically. Three games to go. Will we win any of them? I would like to think so, but I'm struggling to see where a win will come from, including Arbroath, on current form.

I wouldn't call it bleating, I'd call factual representation. Opposition fans see a large section of your fan base acting as hugely self entitled this season. Look at the way your fans are attacking your manager after your best season in how long. Your club has lacked a bit of humility and class. It's been fuckin cringe worthy and it's right you should be slagged, baited and chastised by opposition fans.
You come across upset still
Chill man

Oh I don't get upset with any of that. Only the Pars getting pumped gets me upset, that and overpriced lager.
Your frequent bleating about it suggests it does upset you and for someone your age you should be more chilled abouf it

Some of you need to have a word with yourselves.
You're on for your best season in decades, and at very worst you'll be two knockout games away from the Premiership. Plus we still have a tendency to bottle things from here.
This Airdrie side absolutely embarrassed us at Tannadice only a few weeks ago as well, so it's fair to say McCabe has a knack for beating the better sides in the division.
This in fukin spades
Some seem to forget where we were for the last god knows how many seasons
Irrespective of how this season pans out its been a massive improvement on and off the park

Been trying to find what the prize money differential between 3rd and 4th is for this year but it's not an easy google. Last year it was about £90k so that's a reasonable estimate, definitely worth hanging onto 3rd. Would be insanely optimistic to think we'll catch Raith now so them beating Airdrie in midweek is undoubtedly best for us. Think if we beat Airdrie in 2 weeks that would be enough to get 3rd.
Is McBeth suspended for that game? Today was his 6th booking since he signed which is quite an impressive feat for someone who arrived in January. I know in England you have to collect a certain amount of bookings by the first half of the season then it's doubled but again the only SFA rulebook I can find dates from 2017-18 and says 6 at any point in the season is a 1 game suspension but I have something in my head saying that's changed.
edit: Graham got 6 bookings in the league last season but didn't appear to miss any games because of them
Saw this on Airdrie thread0 -
Next Monday for this kinda nonsense

Looks a pretty solid turn out.
Edit to add - John McGlynn just said on comms that the park is a bit tired in his opinion and needs to be replaced soon. Don't live in Scotland so only see it online but is that a common opinion shared? think it's the first time I've heard it beyond the 'if you get promoted they want grass' chat.
McGlynns talking utter drivel regarding the pitch

We sold our allocation 1950 the last time so would see no reason why we wouldn,t sell our allocation this time
