  1. I agree, she was poor on Thursday too. But playing in front of the back four doesn't suit her in the slightest, and in a team with limitations that you rightly point out to be playing one of the best players so out of position is just bizarre. I'll admit I don't watch the WSL so if that's where she's playing now then fair enough, but I can't see why as she is really not very good at it.
  2. Aye, plenty of other women's teams make football very entertaining indeed. Nowt wrong with the pitch, the problem's with what Scotland's been doing on it.
  3. Baffling and infuriating. You can see how frustrated she gets as well. Madness with one of our best players.
  4. 100%, it's not like that performance was out of keeping with the rest of the qualification campaign, aimless possession at the back and then humping it forward, or incredibly slow working it out to the wings and then hopeful lumps into the box. You can't get away with it every time. If the manager is still the same at the start of the next qualifying campaign it is hard to see a different result.
  5. Thanks for the replies, it was a shame not to get a programme as I like having a reminder of the games, but at least I wasn't either going mad or too blind to see people selling them. We had a really enjoyable afternoon, Dumfries is a lovely place and everybody was very kind with the girls (as they have been at every ground we've visited so far, to be fair). We've moved to the middle of the Borders so I think it may actually be the closest league team to our house, time and hassle wise at least, so we'll definitely be back down at some point, hopefully I'll pick up a programme and see as good a result the next time. Best of luck with the rest of the season, I know Edinburgh were largely rotten but you should have been about 4 up in the first half so I'll keep my fingers crossed this marks a bit of a turning point and sees you pushing up the table in the coming weeks.
  6. Just a quick question, we've recently moved to Scotland so my kids and I (two girls, 6 and 4) decided that we would get to know our new home country by visiting all 42 league grounds (not very quickly, admittedly - I think at this rate they'll be in high school before we get finished). Where we can we've been collecting programmes from the games we've attended and keeping them as souvenirs. We came down for the Edinburgh game today, which was thoroughly enjoyable, and we'll definitely be back again, but I didn't see anybody selling programmes nor did I spot anybody in the stands with one as far as I could see. Are you one of the clubs which has done away with physical programmes, or did I just miss them this afternoon? Cheers.
