  1. I know Murray gives his all, and has scored a few goals this year but Brophy is our best striker - when he's fit. I'd love to see Murray and Brophy play on Tuesday, pretty sure they played together against Motherwell and worked well. Massive game, no two ways about it. Win puts us above St Johnstone with a game in hand, with a game against them coming up.
  2. I've seen it mentioned on Twitter/X a few times over the last couple of days that Eli King has moved to County on loan. Haven't seen anything official and there's a pinch of salt to be had with anything you see online but maybe one to look out for.
  3. For someone playing as a holding midfielder, Randall seems to get himself into pretty good attacking positions. Unfortunately, his finishing is probably worse now than when he was at full back. Otherwise it's a decent performance so far from County, need to see it through now. Very good double save from Laidlaw, hopefully Clarke sees enough in him to give him a chance.
  4. Hmm, works with Brown on the right but Purrington doesn't offer the same on the left. Good defender, but doesn't seem to get forward as much as a wing back should.
  5. The only Caley player I know is Billy McKay. Liked him when he was with us, and felt he was a little hard done by when we let him go. Would I take him back though? Nah, probably not.
  6. Would imagine you'll be in where the St Mirren fans were last midweek. I wonder if we'll see Murray miss out to White for this one. Any win would do me, but judging on the last couple of performances it won't be the best viewing.
  7. Ohh aye? Ganting game of football but St Mirren were technically excellent? Enjoy your night, mate.
  8. I missed the first 15 minutes, which appears to have been the best spell of the game for us. With the exception of a good save from Dhanda's shot, I can't remember too much else of note. Second half was more to and fro. I felt at times we tried to overplay a bit when around Killie's box. Couple of times we broke away and the phase just petered out, when had we been a bit more direct and got a shot away or put an early cross in we might have made more from it. A point is a point, and a clean sheet too - although to be honest, it's a little disappointing.
  9. I'd like to see us go back to a back 4 as well, although I quite liked playing with 2 up top, also. Kind of narrows down the formation we could play - and given that our only out and out winger is injured, and our best attacking full back is suspended, there would still be the problem of zero width.
  10. Tbf, Edwards could occasionally be useful on his day. Akio, on the other hand...
  11. If by soul searching he means taking responsibility for splitting the fanbase and turning some supporters against the club, then maybe he'll take a wider perspective when chosing the next manager. Won't hold my breath.
  12. It probably wont matter what formation we play, but honestly I don't see why we don't just go 4 at the back and have a go. We're actually more comfortable with one less defender and today is a bit of a free hit. If we go 5 at the back I can see us just hammering it forward and Celtic coming back at us in waves. With all due respect to Motherwell, we conceded 2 goals in less than 15 minutes against them with a back 5, Celtic will have a field day.
  13. I don't know what the f**k Baldwin was doing for the second goal, and Harmon probably could have closed down the cross for the 3rd. Just fucking pish all round.
