Can we buy away end tickets on the day?
I was also thinking this - last couple of times I've been to TM, including this season, you could. Would appear that to buy tickets for every away game you need to give each club every last personal detail.
Don't really know why PATG has almost been completely done away with.

Agreed. I think that was the intention with Carson.
Meant to ask, is this the Carson from ICT?

We should obviously be confident (and with respect, Livi probably shouldn't be), but unless I'm mistaken we have lost our last 5 in a row on the road... Something's not quite been clicking!
This pretty much sums up my feelings ahead of this one. I'm still buzzing from the rangers result, but a defeat here could undo all that hard work.
We were pretty pish in the last game at TMA but still found ourselves 2-1 up in the 90th minute. I'm hoping that however we do it - doesn't need to be pretty - we get the win that builds on the momentum from Sunday and carry that into the last 4 games.
As stated on the County thread, massive game.

I see Ross Callachan is back in training. I've not been his biggest fan since he joined but nevertheless its good to see him back and hopefully with his injury problems behind him.

I had no memory of Derek Adams scoring three hat-tricks against Montrose in a calendar year. For those interested, since 1994 we have scored 38 hat-tricks. Liam Boyce scored five of those, Adams four, Neil Tarrant/Billy McKay/David Winters did it three times. Boyce/Garry Wood (of the blonde variety) and Brian Graham each scored four in a game for us.
Some pointless trivia for your Thursday afternoon.
I was at one of David Winters hat-tricks against Raith at Starks Park, can't remember when it was but we won 7-1. One of my favourite games watching County. Want to say around mid 2000's.

Ross Shire Buff. There's a name I never thought I'd hear uttered again.

So this weekend Ferguson skippers Bologna, McGregor came off the bench as he recovers from injury, McKenna played for Copenhagen, and with the exception of Injured Gilmour, Hanley, Shankland (ill) and Nesbitt all the possible squad members gained some game time, even Barnes played some time.. (just if he stays away from the dark side)
Don't think McTominay played either.

County to scrape a completely undeserved 0-1 victory and John Barnes to lose his shit again, would be beautiful.

County were worth a point, so it's disappointing to lose. Not much between the sides.
Aberdeen fans I bumped into last night were decent chat, was a good day despite the result.

Plenty pubs but if you want closer to the ground then Archibald Simpsons on corner of King St/Union St will suit unless you hate spoons.
After game head to Belmont St area which is 10/15 mins max from station. Loads of pubs around
Thanks mate
Seen somewhere that some of the pubs closer to the ground are home fans only - that still the case?

Best place to drink before/after the game? Will be in Aberdeen about lunchtime and don't catch the train until 8 afterwards.

Ross County fans still seething we took the fat mess Brittain without any bother, then managed to saddle them with him again while signing a far superior player with the money they gave us.
Its great to see.
In my experience, this seems to be a bigger issue for your fans than ours. Brittain would have strolled into your team swirling a kane, and you know it.

Absolutely. Maybe the fact we never play ICT so much these days has blurred the lines, but f**k them both.

Nice to see former Dingwall Academy pupil Jake Henry getting a debut try in what was one of the few positives for Edinburgh over in SA.
Although the U20s have struggled over the last few years, we really could do with a handful from each year making the step up for the pro teams, and on to the national stage. I'd say this is a pretty important period for Scottish rugby - it's as good a team as we've had in a long time, Edinburgh & Glasgow in particular are doing alright but there's a clear mental barrier stopping us from becoming a top, top side.
Scotland should have put 50 on Wales and Italy, beat France and went into the game against Ireland with a shot at the grand slam. Instead, we won 2 from 5 and another campaign has just petered out.

I see that as a 4222, Randall as a holding midfielder beside Loturi.
Unless it's a 4312 with Sims behind Brophy and Murray?
As mentioned above, hopefully Randall gives a bit of desperately needed fight in midfield. Glad to see Khela getting a start, he at least looked to be positive when he came on at Easter Road.

All of that said, how low have we sunk that Ross Callachan is missed.
It's Scott Allardice that is badly missed.

I thought yesterday was the second black mark against Don Cowie’s name. The first one coming against St Mirren, where I reckon he lost us the game by setting us up the way we did second half and almost waiting for them to score. The exact same thing happened yesterday and whilst I’m not gunning for him, he certainly has to take a lot of the blame.
Despite playing with 2 strikers, we definitely were set up to defend rather than attack. The midfield was really unbalanced - I'm assuming Litouri is in the team as a holding player, and if that's his role then fine, but I can't remember the last time he played a forward pass. We needed someone getting forward from midfield to support White and Brophy, but neither Sheaf nor King offered much attacking threat. Khela made a bit of a difference when he came on, but too little too late.
It's not a pop shot at Brown/Reid here, both worked hard but we rarely seen them beyond the half way line. They've probably been told to hold their position, which makes life even harder for the front 2 to make anything from the scraps they got.
Pish game all round between 2 pish teams.

I anticipate the following (or something along these lines).
Tomorrows chant from the away end-'He is one of our own, Don Cowie he is one of our own'
I mean, technically they'd be right.
'Girls like Simon Murray' would hopefully be a good omen.
