  1. Young fathers were incredible at the usher hall last night.
  2. You live abroad. It's Saturday. You book flights. You book tickets for Young Fathers in Edinburgh. Three days later, you're in the pub with family and friends. You have T. You're home.
  3. I watched it again and was a really easy fight to score with Fury, despite being a fat shambles and absolutely terrible, winning at least 6 rounds (I had it 6-3 with a 10-10 too). There's absolutely no way you can give Ngannou 5 rounds needed to win the fight.
  4. Yep, no one asking why Fury threw in that performance given how he has fought since going to Sugarhill. He carried Ngannou through that by putting in zero effort and it was a pre determined fight/result (borne out by the punch stats). Ngannou wasn't actually any good - just much better than expected with some basic counter punching, etc. Hence people shouting robbery. A Wardley/Clarke taking it seriously knocks Ngannou out in a round.
  5. Completely. Not a tough fight to score, 6-4 fury with the 10-8. A total work though, Fury not even good at selling it.
  6. Yet the overwhelming majority of players who have worked with him absolutely love him.
  7. Vinicius Jr racially abused again away to Sevilla last night. Scumbags but not a surprise at all. Atleti went second as welland a hat trick from Griezmann. Best all round player in the world this year imo.
  8. It has to be said again, how awful rugby is. Zero skill. Just a shit game of catch for joggers.
  9. Fair play, you've had them on strings for weeks just by (rightly) calling them one dimensional after they beat us. Probably the weirdest non-Clyde fanbase on here. As for the Binos, I'll not see us for a couple months now but I love this fucking team.
  10. Was at All Points East on Friday night. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs set was very decent and The Sttokes were great - a fantastic set but the sound was awful where we initially were but improved when we moved. Genuinely disappointing as no other stage on the day had those issues so for the main stage to have issues like that was appalling.
  11. I've never seen a fan base so rattled by such a throwaway comment as "one dimensional" after a comfy 3-0 win.
  12. We were absolutely terrible tonight. Absolutely nothing went right. Have to just write it off as one of those night and move on. Really flat performance and made it pretty easy for them. Nice third goal from Falkirk tbf.
  13. Falkirk obviously massive favourites but we are a stuffy enough side with a wee bit of quality. Hope they aren't too knackered from Friday as it was some shift and we give a good account of ourselves.
  14. Not too confident for this one, will settle for 4-0 Stirling.
  15. Both sides picking up a win on opening day, should be a tasty derby at the Recs. Not overly confident, I'll settle for 4-0 Stirling.
  16. Kind of saw it much the same as everyone else - thought Edinburgh slightly the better side first half with the one big chance and then Stirling much the better side second half. I didn't think there was much quality in the game but the work rate of the team is brilliant - as mentioned at the end of last season they are such an easy side to like. I think we missed Hilson quite a bit though. McLean absolutely strolled it although I worry we will get caught for pace at the back against better strikers. On a similar note, 17 for Edinburgh looked very assured today as well. Fantastic strike by Clark - really like him as a player. I'd say the only thing is he sometimes gets caught under the ball but does always seem to recover well. Great three points to start the season.
  17. Incredible. Crawford basically perfect in there. Spence looked awful at the weight, really needs to go up.
  18. That's a really, really bad post mate.
  19. 1. Stirling 2. Cove 3. Falkirk 4. Montrose 5. Hamilton 6. Queen of the South 7. Edinburgh 8. Kelly 9. Annan 10. Alloa
  20. Fat Ronaldo came to my work earlier this year. Poor guy could barely walk three yards without getting asked for a photo.
  21. Just finished Turbulence by David Szalay. Twelve connected stories following journeys to different places in the world with each story involving someone from the story before. Hadn't read Szalay before but really enjoyed it.
  22. Didn't think there was too much in the game with Alloa marginally the better side for the first hour but Stirling a lot better after the introduction of Carrick and Hilson. In terms of the pricing, 18 quid is a shocker for a league cup game there. One of the Alloa officials told us "that's the price in this league". Poor stuff. If the Stirling goalkeeper has said something homophobic, I hope we deal with it quickly and harshly. Absolutely no place for it.
  23. It's fucking vile. He has had it for months now and it's heartbreaking. The way he has went about his business has been so admirable for such a young guy. Having lived here five years ,the casual racism in society is a massive stain on the country. Not just that but homophobia too. I wasn't at the Atleti-Real game when he was getting abuse but can imagine how bad it was - the shit Salah was getting in the Liverpool game was bad enough. I'm not sure what point I'm trying to make here or anything but I just feel really sorry for the guy.
  24. Murray is some boi. I was at the Madrid Open last week, saw a cracker of a match as Thiem lost in 3 sets to Tsitsipas followed by Sakkari winning in 3 sets. Session started at 8 and didn't finish til near enough 2am - shame as the second match emptied for folk getting the metro home.
