  1. Oh, sorry. The 'loan market will be explored, but nearer the end of the window'. Hopefully that's a truer reflection of what was communicated.
  2. I watched the interview and didn't come away with the impression that no further players will sign. Some of the academy players - MacKenzie and Stanway - look promising. That's good. Some loans are taking a bit longer to materialise...so what? The Ayr manager and members of their board held a Q&A the other night where they confirmed that they're relying on the loan market, meaning that players are are unlikely to arrive until closer to the first league game. We'll be in the same boat. People need to be patient.
  3. Don't understand why, all of a sudden, some people aren't expecting new faces.
  4. Expecting Stanway to follow in the footsteps of MacKenzie by signing a pro contract on the back of his successful loan at Airdrie and recent impressive performances.
  5. Doc appears to have opted for a 'hard' look since signing for United. Erse.
  6. You're going to be disappointed when Dundee United unveil Docherty and Holt.
  7. The strips run true to size. The training wear can run smaller than normal, though.
  8. Muirhead and Bannigan are the only out-of-contract players we're likely to keep. I wouldn't offer the latter a new deal, but I doubt Doolan wants to go into the new season with an entirely new central midfield.
  9. If 'Partick Thistle man' Ian McCall fancies scouting for the club then I'm all for it. Director of Football? No.
  10. i.e. that the board wasn't operating on a break-even basis as claimed previously. He's a clown.
  11. I've never seen a side more haunted by the spectre of administration than Inverness tonight.
  12. Marie Macklin's into construction and urban regeneration rather than cars.
