  1. Yeah I can’t get my head round it either, hopefully he’ll get more of a chance through the rest of the season.
  2. I agree. He was Clach’s best player by a fair bit. I thought Lewis MacKenzie was great when he came on too. His ball carrying was causing Caley problems and his pass through for Ferguson’s goal was class.
  3. Yeah definitely gave a decent account of themselves. If they take the positives from that match then it definitely could help spur them on.
  4. Did you go to the game? I thought it was entertaining, both teams played some decent stuff at times.
  5. That would be good aye, be interesting to see where they planned to fit it in though. I’d presume before the league cup groups but at that point teams tend to be playing for fitness so might not get great games. I’m planning on going down and hoping it’s at least entertaining. I recently revived an old football blog I had been writing so at the least it’ll be fun to write a wee bit about the Inverness Cup and the match haha.
  6. How are people feeling about the Inverness Cup next week? Not sure if it’s going to be replacing the ICT v Clach friendly every year but think it would be fun for it to involve other teams like it has in the past.
  7. Cheers! I’ll definitely drop in at the Staggies Bar at some point then and give one of the others a go as well.
  8. Hi, looking for a suggestion for a place to get a pint before the game against St Johnstone? Got that weekend to myself so thought I’d jump the train from Inverness and take in a game at Dingwall for the first time.
  9. Don’t ever remember him saying he wouldn’t leave the club? From the first link to an EPL job to this one he’s only ever said he wants to concentrate on what he’s doing now rather than talk about his future. You realise as well he is able to understand the fans as well as have different professional ambitions? Must be shite supporting a team where all you have to be happy about at the end of the season is the manager who helped make sure you have a chance at European football possible leaving
  10. Thanks for the advice I’ll make sure to bookmark the SFA refs page to make sure I don’t miss any changes! Planning on heading to Bught on Friday for the game.
  11. That’s brilliant, sounds like I’m not going to be short of football to go and watch haha.
  12. Thanks for the info. I’ll have a look at the amateur leagues and see what the fixtures are like before the NCL starts. I think Inverness Athletic could be handy if they’re in North Kessock as I’ll be staying in Culloden so not far at all. It’ll definitely be nice to take the odd trip to some matches further afield though and make an afternoon of it as you suggest.
  13. Hi there. I’m moving to Inverness from Glasgow, tomorrow in fact, and I’m planning to go see some NCL games and follow the league. I was hoping that someone could shed a little light for a newcomer to the league on who the teams to watch are and anything else worth knowing? cheers
