Sign-Donnelly, McCracken, Robinson and Boateng. Re-loan-Costelloe, Mellon and Beck (til Christmas if we get Europe) Mellon looked more confident than usual and was better on the ball. Would like to see him get more game time. Robinson is still 21 which people forget. Has potential to have a great career so we should sign.

Running down the wing, moving the ball forward and winning the ball in the air.

Hopefully Main is back soon. I’d have Main up top and drop Tiffoney back level with Cameron to try solve the problem of getting outnumbered on the wing. Tiffoney and Cameron could cover the wing and one of them can stay tight to the defensive midfielder to prevent them passing through and having time on the ball.

Donnelly is much better than Lamie. Perhaps he didn’t play as good without a natural wing back closer to him.

McStravick has been great so far for Airdrie. Just scored a very good goal.

I think that there will only be 2 new faces and the rest renew/sign loans. Would be great to have have a squad that are familiar with each other. 2 wide defensive players that a versatile with what formation they play in. Will be interesting to see what happens with French and Kerr. I think Anderson will get another chance next season.

Could you compare Beck to Penrice and Lewis Mayo to Ryan Astley? Thanks

3-5-2 McCracken Portales Lamie Donnelly McCowan Sylla Beck Mulligan Robertson Main Tiff/Mellon/Costelloe I thought McCracken was very good today. We are trying to play out the back more with I think would suit Robertson as Cameron is better staying further up the pitch. Astley is probably better than Lamie but tricky to introduce him. Mulligan should keep his place and it was his best performance in a Dundee shirt. He played with confidence and is forward thinking. McCowan should be captain and he is reliable and versatile so can play RWB and still perform well in doing so. Beck doesn’t suit the new style of play but when need to constantly play attacking football to suit his and the teams strength. Main was playing like the player I thought we signed. Tiffoney effective playing on the shoulder, Mellon penalty box striker and Costelloe would get the best out of Main. Our team has so much potential and I believe we are the 4th best team in Scotland with the players we have. We need to stick to attacking football and stop showing teams respect. We should be the team dominating. Our fully fit squad depth is amazing. Comfortable with Boateng and Lyall coming on and making an impact.

Would rather have kept Charlie Reilly. If he does sign on loan he can play winger and striker which would fit both 3-5-2 and 4-3-3

Hope Max Anderson gets a chance next season. Has done good at a Inverness and is getting bigger. Was one of our best players last time in the Premiership and hope he finds his form with us as he still has potential

He has been decent when ever he has played. Cameron can’t defend and scared to tackle

Carson McGhee Shaughnessy Donnelly Beck Sylla Boateng Costelloe McCowan Reilly Mellon This is a very strong team that could happen in the next few weeks. Portales may be a better player than Joe but he is our Captain and helps Donnelly

I would definitely keep Costelloe in as he was so positive and direct. Tiffoney I thought was hiding from the ball and not willing to tackle but he is good in the final third and creative. Cameron should start depending on the opponent as I’d like to see Boateng and Sylla together

I’d have Sylla next to Boateng and McCowan further up the pitch. Boateng didn’t work with Sylla last time in the 352 as it was too defensive and was playing ahead of Sylla. If they are both next to each other and Luke ahead of them it would get us further up the pitch as McCowan has plenty of cover
