You really haven't got a clue what is going on between the board(owner) and the core support of which all but about 4 have walked away. Do you not think we are desperate to get back to supporting our club? Do you think we want to be sat at home or getting dragged around a supermarket every Saturday?

There is There's a whole corridor full of hair dryers outside changing rooms for public to use. I did the "Meadowbank tour" on Thrusday and that did give me a chuckle (Highly recommend the tour by the way, it's free also)

Can't argue with any of this, in fact, it's the best statement that's ever come from the support. Hits the nail on the head. I had a phone call the other week, the Chairman was extremely good to me on the phone and I've never had anything against the guy personally, however we all need some sort of meeting, I will always stand by that until the day it happens. The Dunfermline game, which I didn't attend(haven't been since that incredible night in Annan), really was the straw that broke the camels back. The Chairman, in my opinion, is under an extreme amount of pressure from the owner to deliver his warped agenda and project even if he wants to deep down or not. I'm adamant that the board under the owner have absolutely no say and have to fall in line or will lose their positions and get replaced by The Owners own people, which would be even worse than it already is, if it can get any worse that is. Heart breaking. Every single thing that's happening right now. Dear Tom........Please listen to us but I wont hold my breath. We want our club back!!

I spoke to the Social club personally. They were never going to stop them using the name. FC Edinburgh was created to finally severe the tie with the social club and as a vanity project designed to attract tourists and commercial partners. The fans have been shafted. I emailed the club asking for an emergency meeting. I thought to myself "give them 48 hours they'll get back to me it's 100% in their best interests to get the proper fans back on board" I'm still waiting for a reply, I extended my arm like an idiot yet again and yet again I've been let down. I don't even think the sales are in double figures. They know they have absolutely screwed this whole thing up. The Meadowbank situation is on the council, I'll give them some leeway with that but all the other issues is down to them and that's why season ticket sales are non-existent. READ THE ROOM TOM & CO. I'll agree with this. Was chomping at the bit to go back. Seems like it's all been one big bad omen. They(hate saying they instead of we now) should have never have gone back until a fully viable Meadowbank was ready for that standard.

Yeah and what when those players move on? Then what do you have? An absolute empty vessel of a so called football club. You really need to look at the bigger picture Tenkay. The true fans have been tucked up. The only ones not seeing it are fans of other clubs that see the club as their second team. It doesn't affect them as much and never will. Two SC committee members WERE consulted about the name change, however, they were given no say, they were told what it was going to be and they had no chance to object, none of us did. There are people that have supported the club over 30 years, from park pitches littered with dug shite to the halcyon of promotion to League 1, and even they have walked, that tells you all you need to know doesn't it. There are a few other things which I can't and won't post on here as to why the true core of the support are in uproar.
