  1. All the happy clappy fans .Bohessian (who even commented on my post in another teams thread)and Bonnyrigg Rose fan Dolly. I have expressed my honest opinions on here but it is always seen as moanng, which I believe is unfair. Everyone will therefore be delighted to know that this is my last comment on Pie and bovril forums. I will continue of course to go along and support the team . 78 years and counting.
  2. Without VAR there was no way the home side were going to score. That is the point I am trying to make not whether the decision was right or wrong according to the rules at this moment in time.
  3. Thistle we’re far better in both games. Ross County should consider themselves very fortunate that VAR stepped in as they were hopeless.
  4. Moans are not acceptable on this thread apparently.
  5. You really need to calm down.Your vitriol is only embarrassing yourself. What makes you think that arseholes are bad footballers ? Also if you are correct that the last manager (I never once lowered myself to calling him a clown)was allowed to put his own money into buying players then there are serious questions to be asked of the people running the club.
  6. What are you suggesting? I support the team but I do not believe that just because a player wears a blue jersey doesn’t mean he is any good,or beyond criticism. I have no hidden agenda or anything of the sort ,so please refrain from even suggesting such nonsense. It should not take money to win the Lowland league although I appreciate it helps.Better recruitment and coaching is surely possible even on a tight budget. As I have previously said Bo’ness United have never been awash with money.Success has previously been achieved with good players. The reality is there are not enough in the current squad and resigning most of what is there is simply asking for more under achievement next season. This happy clappy way of watching a team is simply sticking your head in the sand thinking that average players are going to improve. They won’t Just because they may be great guys to talk to etc.is not what it’s about.Give me 11 arseholes who produce better football performances than have been witnessed the past two seasons any day of the week . This is where a good man manager becomes invaluable.
  7. Never said they were overrun in games .They keep finding ways to lose when it really counts. I do not think this or last season deserves praise as there has been no improvement at all. If that is seen as moaning then so be it . I will continue to express my opinions (moans)until this club that I love play better and winning football.
  8. I feared this type of thinking would come to the fore if a change of manager managed to get some favourable results . All this wee run has done is paper over the gaping cracks that will still be there if this squad is not vastly improved. It is not advisable to get carried away with wins when it matters little.Players these days down tools early, signing pre contracts for next season at other clubs etc. We must improve next season when it really matters by being far more consistent mid season especially when all teams are at full throttle. The standard of the Lowland league this season has dropped off and that includes the hated B teams who have shown little quality so ninth place is poor Jambo in my opinion.
  9. Too little too late though Dave. When it matters mid season the results fall off a cliff. Next season it has to be so much better.
  10. More good news? Giving new contracts to more under achieving players?Cannot wait.
  11. Two goal scorers are a must for next season.
  12. Just a far better education to be had in Bo’ness.
  13. Please check your grammar before posting pal.
  14. Bo’ness United have never had much money. The only good times we have enjoyed i the last forty years of our history have been when we have had decent coaches. Firstly Lenny Reid then Brian Fairley,Davie Baikie and Allan Macgonigal. So sourcing the correct man for the job is critical not just an easy and convenient appointment which this is. What is the rush anyway? We have nothing to play for this season and three months before a new campaign start's. Good luck Mr Little anyway.
  15. Sounds like you have more inside knowledge of Ian Little than me Jambo. You would have to say though that he was part of a management team this season and most of last term was not producing much of note. I just hope that other options were looked at .
  16. Really Lazy appointment but I am not surprised as I predicted such an outcome when his pal packed in. Does anybody know if the position was advertised and interviews conducted?
  17. I think those idiots thought that all the people that were at their event at the Hydro were going to turn up to watch them at Broadwood.
  18. I think Rangers and Celtic B teams should be allowed to be promoted up to maximum championship level.Controversial?
