League far from over although that was a big three points for us today , every single game remains a 50/50 for me though and to suggest other wise is very derogatory to our opponents as anyone can turn anyone over in this league for sure. How can this be classed as a fully inclusive pyramid system when the SFA slam the door shut halfway through the season on progressive clubs trying to gain a licence? No more licences being granted tough titty behaviour doesn't strike me as a proper pyramid structure as I know my own club in particular have been bending over backwards to achieve our licence .

Regardless of what anyone thinks this is a totally diluted version of the Scottish junior cup . Darvel will win it but cmon it's lost most of if not all its magic and is now a glorified west of Scotland cup ( challenge me please regarding the last four ) In a geographical level In saying otherwise.

John gall utterly despises Talbot and he doesn't even try and hide the fact. But Talbot will be about the top end of our game much longer than John gall or darvel so he won't enjoy his moments of sheer twistedness for much longer.

Barrhead and Johnstone are far bigger towns in fairness and sandwiched between both is the biggest town in Scotland in paisley and arthurlie do get a good few St mirren fans coming along to their games when they're not playing. Plus add in that darvel would bring very little to beechwood.

Totally agree mate and that's when the Scottish was the Scottish when it was all In with the top East teams In it ,now it's just a diluted west cup in my opinion.

I remember going to love street 1997/1998 arthurlie v kilwinning rangers and it was 6,000 for that semi final alone.

In fairness Johnstone burgh have got a good few players cup tied in daz , Conner and blair but I still think they will win today but hopefully not. Hope arthurlie and Talbot make it to the final but I fully expect a cup final of Darvel v Johnstone burgh in an 'el classlessico'

I have a real soft spot for arthurlie but if Johnstone burgh don't get the job done by at least 0-4 at dunterlie in the first leg then I will be astonished. Really hope I'm proven wrong though.

Pollock are a big club in our grade for sure but their record of landing majors in recent memory doesn't match their status , in saying majors we think of leagues titles and Scottish cup wins,is the west of Scotland cup really a major these days ? I'm really not so sure and i don't think Maxwell can claim his first major in winning the west for me .........

Agree with most of that. Last two teams I want relegated are meadow and arthurlie they're almost like local derbies for me, great days out to irvine and barrhead and catch up with good friends. Just don't get that away to a gartairn cage, a bens cage/st cadocs cage , a drumchapel wherever they play or a peasy plastic. Not wanting to sound bad here but I want the local teams and good wee away days.

Oh yes he is and he mooches all the hampden freebies while getting his bankie games rearranged to suit his own self indulgent greedy freebie needs . That's a fact .

Just to condense the last 8 pages Into a brief summarisation. Talbot guys give their best in every game and their fans pretty much want to win every game and aren't really too ruffled over all this . Personally I'm not too ruffled too and will support my club regardless of which league we play in if the licence opens up or even if in decades time and we went down the leagues I would still be there regardless . And in conclusion and onto the bankies fans now and they're just pretty much angry at everything.
