Took the game in yesterday and was very impressed with Clydebank fan base and facilities- we really do have decent teams at this level. 3rd game as a neutral so far this season, 4 different teams and all got something fans can be proud of.

Went along tonight have seen darvel twice this season and reckon Cumnock would have beaten them again tonight. Only time will tell if we can last the pace. kilwinning look ok for a newly assembled squad but shocking defending and Ben lewis on the bench for as long are equally criminal.

I think the darvel project has had a massive impact to the game already. I know at my club has inflated wages and talking to others in the game we are all feeling the same. If talbot had won the league last year they would’ve dealt with Tranent and been away which gives more opportunities for our teams chasing them. I also feel their team don’t perform to their potential either and question mick’s actual ability as a manager. Put McGinty in charge of that budget and he’d win the league

Just noticed the buffs have signed another player in their 30s? I don’t think the likes of Chris millar and Kevin Nicol will be as good as we’re hearing. fancy Cumnock, Irvine Meadow to finish above them this season.

The league is the aim at the start of the season so Darvel have had the better season although Talbot will be content enough with their progress. I’d imagine most of the clubs in the wos will be looking for darvel to be promoted to let them all get on with their own projects and let the darvel side show move on. Best of luck to them I say.

Never one to back up the old rivals but the lack of a cash gate would affect a huge portion of our fan base too. Average age of our supports would be the main factor.

The boy Syme is showing his class as usual. Everyone i spoke to up at kilwinning a few months ago were delighted to get rid of him. He’s a known bully who used to bully as many of his team mates as he could especially the youth and looks like he’s trying the same tactic with the media man up there.
