I'm expecting my under 13s to play out from the back at the Tontine this afternoon. If they can do it I don't understand how semi professional footballers can't. At any level punting it long usually results in you losing the ball quickly.

The best thing the club could do right now is plan for a fight in league 2 next season because that's what's going to happen. Not cling on to the idea that because we are in the play offs there is a good chance we'll go up. Get rid of Farrell early on after our season finishes, get some fresh ideas on the park and maybe just maybe you'll see an upturn in positivity from the so called " not real fans" and season tickets might increase. Love it or hate it. BUT an Astro surface financed through grant applications has to be a priority for the board. This generates income. Cuts down on hiring a training pitch during the week. Maybe the 1st team might like to train in Glasgow, but making that once in Glasgow, once in Dumbarton could be the difference between getting a player on board for the season. Local clubs spend thousands on pitches every year. Just maybe they'd like to hire the pitch. Parents would love to sit under the covers while watching the kids train. The £10 for parking is a kick in the baws to our mostly elderly support who park in the stadium grounds. I'm all for getting money from the away support, but ripping off our pensioners is a disgrace. Mon the Sons

Bit off the recent topics. But we really need the website sorted. Went down to the stadium this afternoon to purchase a season ticket, website says the club is open, but doesn't tell you the hours. I went around 2pm and of course the wee sign inside the stadium which is open for the cafe tells me the football side closes at 1:30pm. Plenty of positives, and it's ok playing out from the back on our immaculate playing surface, but we shouldn't be doing that away in places like Bonnyrigg as we don't have the players to do that at centre half. Just ask them to defend, not start the attacks. We looked good in the first half, but our lack of depth and fitness today really showed against a team we should've put away from our amount of possession. But tomorrow is another day. Mon the Sons

Split on the Lynas v Carlo.... people say Carlo gives us more threat but his first pass is always safe. Lynas always tries to play his first pass forward. And has the pace to support the forward pass. Carlo on today's evidence didn't do himself any favours in my opinion.

Looking at prices....Young Sons membership doubled in price this year to £40. Last year for £20 they were promised a session on the pitch with Stevie Farrell. Say what you want about the first team, but I believe he would have been good with the kids for a session and some would've benefited from it, but it never happened. Disappointed with the membership. My kids only got one thing. A birthday card.

With regards to players coming in, we'll probably get the pick of the litter. Farrell will have promised them we will win the league, and after all players want medals, not money. Ha ha

It's not the first time I've wasted my time and money to watch Dumbarton, but I'll not be back under Farrell. The club should seriously consider offering those who turned up tonight a voucher for Saturday's match. It's the only way the majority of fans will go.

Not sure they got the name of the team right. LEGENDS, aye some of them but very few of them. Guys that played for the club at least once, would've been more appropriate.
