  1. Calum Gallagher away to Arbroath. He's going to be inducted into the Airdrie Hall of Fame. Not bad for someone some fans didn't rate because he didn't run properly.
  2. I'm expecting my under 13s to play out from the back at the Tontine this afternoon. If they can do it I don't understand how semi professional footballers can't. This instruction comes from the side of the pitch, not the goalie and the centre backs. We work on it at training and is carried out at the weekend. At any level punting it long usually results in you losing the ball quickly.
  3. The best thing the club could do right now is plan for a fight in league 2 next season because that's what's going to happen. Not cling on to the idea that because we are in the play offs there is a good chance we'll go up. Get rid of Farrell early on after our season finishes, get some fresh ideas on the park and maybe just maybe you'll see an upturn in positivity from the so called " not real fans" and season tickets might increase. Change is required in the dugout before it changes anywhere else. Mon the Sons
  4. I've heard from a good source that the supporter is well known and it was in earshot of the players family. No room for it in society or out club. Disappointed in this particular fans behavior.
  5. Love it or hate it. BUT an Astro surface financed through grant applications has to be a priority for the board. This generates income. Cuts down on hiring a training pitch during the week. Maybe the 1st team might like to train in Glasgow, but making that once in Glasgow, once in Dumbarton could be the difference between getting a player on board for the season. Local clubs spend thousands on pitches every year. Just maybe they'd like to hire the pitch. Parents would love to sit under the covers while watching the kids train. No other pitch locally would have that. Mon the Sons
  6. The £10 for parking is a kick in the baws to our mostly elderly support who park in the stadium grounds. I'm all for getting money from the away support, but ripping off our pensioners is a disgrace. Mon the Sons
  7. Season ticket, sons trust members then folk who went up to Cove 2 years ago in the pissing rain should have first dibs.
  8. To be fair, we looked the better team but should've lost the tie. How that boy missed when it was easier to score I'll never know. Our names on the cup, but I guess it's been on it for years... Mon the Sons
  9. In Stevie we trust, never in doubt at 0-1 Mon the Sons
  10. Hope Farrell doesn't blame the lack of goals on the pitch.
  11. Bit off the recent topics. But we really need the website sorted. Went down to the stadium this afternoon to purchase a season ticket, website says the club is open, but doesn't tell you the hours. I went around 2pm and of course the wee sign inside the stadium which is open for the cafe tells me the football side closes at 1:30pm. Please please please get a grip of the website somebody Mon the Sons
  12. Inferior product. Always going to be cheaper. Mon the Sons
  13. To be fair to the club, you will be watching a far superior team when watching us. Better product on show means you have to pay top dollar. Mon the Sons
