But very positive, despite losing Patterson getting injured and Ukraine not having either Stepanenko or Bodnar off for 2nd yellow/violent conduct respectively.

As annoying as this has been for Accies, I think we should try to see the positive side. If you said pre season we'd be unbeaten in these 3 opening games, I'd have bitten your head off. It's the fact we probably should've won any 2 of those 3 that grates. Still, I'm far less pessimistic now than I was going into the season for us.

Weird game that. Thistle had far more shots but nothing too troubling I think, the goal aside which was a good finish. We should've killed the game in the twenty minute spell in the second half where thistle couldn't keep possession - if we had anyone with a football brain to make a final ball or even a good decision we'd have scored another. Scott Martin and Lewis Smith especially guilty of that! Also that Andy Winter chance right after Thistle scored was absolutely glaring. Definitely should've buried that. And if Winter gets his square ball better in the last few minutes big Tiehi had a tap in. I'll be surprised if either Thistle or Accies end up challenging for anything this season based on that.

We're obviously not shite. That's the worst part. Look at our players. I'm sick of hearing this pathetic "oooh we're crap anyway". Our team is better on paper than Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland, but I doubt we'd even beat NI at this point. We need to have higher standards for a team that has a CL finalist and is filled out with English and Scottish premiership players.

Get "Robbo" dropped. Blood Hickey in his natural position or play Taylor there if it suits. Robertson needs to buck his ideas up quite a bit when he's in a Scotland shirt, judging by his performances tonight and Vs Ukraine

Highlight: the 4-0 Vs Partick, 3-0 Vs ICT, 4-4 Vs Raith. Lowlights: paying £20 to watch Partick horse us. Colin McGowan refusing to spend anything to get us out the league. Not even getting near the playoffs despite being in the premiership last season. Throwing away 1-0 leads in the 90th minute about 5 times. Most of our signings being duds or not arsed.

This season has been our worst in my living memory in terms of performances, so accies have plenty. Luke Matheson was truly shite. Ryan Fulton is a close contender. But in terms of sheer gutlessness and unwillingness to actually impact a game, it's got to be Miko Virtanen. I was excited when we signed him but I just don't know what he does. Is he a ball winner, a number 6, an 8, or a playmaker? Either way, he's shite. Also Josh Mullin was hyped up by Livi fans when he came in and genuinely has been dreadful. But at least he's positively impacted at least one game, unlike Virtanen.
