  1. Honestly, we’re far better than Annan. I don’t think we should be worrying too much. Is anyone passing Midlothian to the way? im looking for a lift: obviously I’ll pay petrol but my doctor won’t allow me to drive.
  2. Tidzer post game interview: ” we scored two good goals”.
  3. I know we all we all wanted McCann to score but….
  4. I’ve had a stroke and I’m stuck at home, but I just noticed this that cheered me. My apologies if someone else’s posted it but every single player except for Burrell.
  5. So our plan now for the rest of season is to get Leon McCann a goal: I propose once Morrison is clearly top scorer that Leon becomes a penalty taker and try hard to get him a chance.
  6. Actually everything regresses towards the total wage bill. That’s the one highly correlative metric that counts in all leagues ( more than turnover or transfers). Read the Numbers Game. of course having a high home attendance makes the wage bill higher too, but that is the best predictor of final success
  7. So pissed off having to watch on tv. But hammer them Bairns.
  8. Dump the nepobaby - he’s keeping you down
  9. I’m pretty Ill so I’ve a free ticket for Falkirk end tonight. Can send by email if you want it. pissed off this will be the only game in 10 years I’ll miss.
  10. I’ve been thinking of him: and we would weaken serious rivals at the same time, that said he does seem to get injured regularly tonight being the case in point
  11. I’ve gone down with benign, positional vertigo which is an absolute b*****d. I can’t drive And even standing up makes me very nauseous. My guess is I won’t make the match on Saturday if anyone wants my ticket PM me please
  12. How little the BbC views the lower league. There is no mention of our becoming champions on the BBC Scotland football page.
  13. Fergusson wasnt very successful to begin with at Man U. There were fan protests calling for his head iirc. There’s no guarantee he’d have done well with us. plus he called the team out on strike and then changed his mind. I was forced by my parents to miss the match and go to the Trossaughs that day with visiting relatives and I cried ( very young) when I found out I’d missed a match. also he once told 10 year old me to f**k off. So bugger him lol. He wasn’t a great player and a total cheat.
  14. So can we sign the boy Rose from Accies just for the banter.
  15. Genuine question. What were Tait’s supposed off pitch issues - his attitude’s been fine since he came to us? Was it Rankin?
  16. As I sit in a chip shop in Moffat my contribution to this was that McGinn was slow to a ball he should have shot from then struggled to get back to cover when the ball broke behind him. Sadly it’s over. Thank you for your service. Enjoy your medal and coaching.
  17. What a waste Stokes later career has been. Fekking idiot - he was given a chance to leave his background behind and couldn’t take it.
  18. No one said I was better than someone else. And I want these people to come along but don’t try to tell me that they are not more fickle. That’s why they boo an undefeated team.
  19. One issue as we win more often the people coming aren’t as committed or as informed as those who support us through thick and thin. And it’s less comfortable, the huge guy sitting next to me yesterday had no issues with leaning his fat legs into my personal space. But worst are those who moan if things aren’t 100% perfect. Sadly we want these people to come along but it’s really fucking irritating.
  20. Yes and the size of the pitch giving our wingers no space. There’s no coincidence that Stirling twice, Bonnyrigg once were poor surfaces so we get forced into more long balls. i think the one improvement we could do is play through the middle more, I think earlier in the season we mixed it up more but recently our wingers have put the ball in the box earlier. That still works but not allowing the opposition to know where the threat is going to come from is more advantageous. It’s also why we don’t get that many penalties. For instance I’d like to see Agyeman play in the nr 10 role when he comes on for a few games. Sadly of late he’s been sent on to hold the ball in the corner for the last few minutes and yesterday didn’t get a touch at all until the referee blew his whistle. Anyway I’m not really moaning, this has been the best football I’ve seen from us in 50+ years of watching us.
  21. That felt tense until we scored, and then the drive home. Only to find the bridge to Edinburgh closed and a long detour via Kincardine - only to find the bloody M9 closed too. Then much of the Edinburgh bypass down to single line traffic. Added 90 mins on my trip home. And all the food outlets closed as I passed them having missed out dinner. Oh well worth it. COYB.
  22. He had his best game for us. Bombed forward every chance he got. Crosses into the box were mostly too close to their keeper but he gave the assist for the goal. Bad luck for him that McCann has been so good.
  23. When all the glory seekers start to turn up then you are bound to get an element who don’t support the team through thick and thin. We want them to come but they are going to be more fickle.
