  1. nice to know I haven’t got under your skin or anything like that…
  2. I’d like to see us go a bit back to basics here, play the formation we’ve gone with for most of the season (4-1-3-2). Something like: Dabrowski Millen - Watson - Murray - Dick Brown Mullin - Turner - Easton Rudden - Vaughan Though I’m very tempted to give Callum Hannah a start, in for Dick, get a real look at what he can offer.
  3. Are the owners plans to build this academy using club funds, if it works and becomes profitable, great, they can cream off the profits, if it doesn’t they can sell the club back to the fans complete with debt at little personal loss to themselves? How long until we hear the rattle of the collection buckets at the KDM?
  4. Of course I’m not concerned if you’ve used the Nisbet bonanza to paper over your financial cracks, if I was a pars fan I sure as hell would be though.
  5. I wonder what your owners did with the Nisbet gold and just where it vanished…
  6. Did you not have something like a 30% sell on fee for Nisbet, who moved on for £2Million? If that’s vanished plugging holes that’s got to be a serious concern.
  7. He should be nowhere near Falkirk. I don’t think it was his debut but he came on in a cup tie v Livi (who had Dykes et all) and absolutely ran the show. I think he could be in that situation now where he either does a Shankland or Kevin Nisbet where he realises he has to screw the nut if he wants to make it and really kicks on or he just drifts down the leagues. The talent is there, I have heard from people who saw him at youth level he was the best 14/15/16 year old they’d seen in years etc.
  8. He’s a waster. Heard numerous reports he’s got a stinking attitude. Saw it once down at a game at Ayr not long after being signed for Hibs, Jack Ross in the stand watching him. I was behind the dug outs and Paul Smith was shouting and balling at him to drive on with the ball when he gets it instead of standing about statically in the midfield trying to ping aimless balls which have inevitably not worked and his response was a visible kind of “f**k off” shrug of the shoulder. He didn’t even try to run with the ball after that. He was hooked early in the second half I’m sure. He properly burst of the scene with us and looked absolutely amazing but after that loan spell after he’d sign for Hibs I was glad to see him go. Unreal we got 100K for him.
  9. A Scottish accent must be a bit of a novelty in the Scottish Rugby XV these days.
  10. Though conversely the rugby one has clearly decided he is Scottish as following his brothers in being Irish in the rugby world would make him less likely to get a cap.
  11. Here’s a picture of “a failure in the under soil heating system”
  12. I wonder if clubs are reluctant to loan to you guys given the injuries you seem to have been accumulating. Clubs wouldn’t want to loan out a player and have him return crocked.
  13. Is it just a case with you that any spare cash goes in to the academy/training set up and as long as you don’t look like going down they’re happy for the first team to tread water in this division?
  14. I don’t think it a case of us losing out on O’Reilly, I think it’s a case of us passing up on what he wanted. So far this season we’ve been excellent in terms of getting value for money and as defensive cover brought in mid season, O’Reilly represented that. In a window where there will be other options perhaps there are similar players available for less than O’Reilly was after, or for slightly more than O’Reilly was after there might be much better players. I‘m certain Potter, Murray, Barrowman et all have weighed up the options here and if this is what they deem best, I’m willing to say it probably is.
  15. I’d blame your owners for that. Seems bizarre that in this day and age it was seemingly down to the manger alone to do all the recruitment for a top flight club.
  16. The only niggling issue is he’s moved from regular first team football to playing in the kiddie league down south. Can’t help but feel there’s a chance the next time he plays a first team game will be when he’s 23 for Aldershot or somebody.
