  1. Wouldn’t disagree with sending humanitarian aid - and there’s a lot of that going on already. I’ve added a link below if you’re interested - but I think it’s important to recognise that this is a war, Ukraine is under constant bombardment and it needs military support in order to be able to defend its citizens. I’m hoping as Scotland fans we can help them do that. https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/ukraine-aid-help-now
  2. Yep agree - trying to collect money to send to Ukrainian NGO Come Back Alive
  3. Aye saw that - good to see hibees on the front foot. Can’t all show our support that way, hoping we can share the crowd funder on our socials
  4. Can understand not everyone will be comfortable with that. From my own perspective I want to do something that can help innocent people defend themselves from unprovoked aggression
  5. Think we need a campaign to build around some of what you’re saying here - would be good to get a team together that want to work on this ahead of the game if interested
  6. Sentiment and language around it aside - isn’t that what we’re saying? We’re trying to encourage people to donate so we can practically support Ukraine. I think buckets at the gate are a great idea and should be part of this campaign. Also agree with the Ukrainian anthem and flags sentiment. But don’t think that should stop us encouraging SFA fans to donate even £1 ahead of the game to the crowd funder would make a big difference.
  7. How does everyone feel about playing Ukraine in the middle of the war? Strikes me we have a chance to actually show the world Scotland stands with Ukraine when Westminster is degrading the whole nation with its refugee policy we’ve started a crowd funder to try and get tartan army fans to contribute to ukraine’s defence… anyone up for trying to spread the word? https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tartan-army-defend-ukraine
  8. Scotland v Ukraine isn’t going to be a normal game of football and we need to do something to mark the occasion and show our solidarity. our identity is built on resisting foreign invasion and occupation, so it seems fitting that the tartan army takes a stand and helps Ukraine send Putin home tae think again! what does Pie&Bovril think - anyone up for helping us get the message out there? https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tartan-army-defend-ukraine
  9. Disappointing that the game is delayed but it gives us more time to make something of the event. it won’t be a normal game of football either way and we need to show our solidarity with the Ukrainian people. we are trying to raise money from tartan army fans to go to Ukraine to help it defend itself - I think this would send a big message. If everyone going just gave £1 we’d smash our target what do you reckon? https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tartan-army-defend-ukraine
  10. We’re trying to get Scotland fans to raise money to defend Ukraine - as a lifelong hibee I’m hoping you guys can help us get it going. What do you think? https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/tartan-army-defend-ukraine?utm_term=8Qe8NRK6P
