I think that’s up for debate. Let’s face it, in 2014 both sides exaggerated their EU-related arguments for their own ends. My opinion is that Scotland would have got in eventually, but it would have been a long drawn, complicated affair, and that huge austerity would have had to be inflicted on Scots to allow us to meet the criteria.

It’s always better to have reasonable discussion than to label people as anti-whatever, or accuse them of having the latest phobia or ‘ism’.
