Well he was on loan there last season so might be something in the rumour, plus probably wants part-time if he is joining the Fire Service.
Heard our new director is wanting us part time, so a chance he could stay with us if both are true.

The board downed tools years ago. Bad decision after bad decision. I am delighted they are going at the end of the season. It can’t come soon enough. All the shit they have left us in both on and off the park will be their legacy.
The first job of the incoming board will surely be to sack Bartley and his staff.
Murray’s contract is expiring this summer anyway so imagine he’d go regardless (hopefully)

It’s an interesting one, because I agree with you on Ferguson, and Todd being good again today. However, I was speaking to a scout for a potential playoff opponent at half time today and he liked the look of Ferguson, and thought Todd was the big issue in midfield. Intriguing how others can see it so differently.
I’ve never understood the appeal of Ferguson. From what I’ve seen of him, he doesn’t create chances, he can’t tackle and he doesn’t carry the ball up the pitch for us. He was a player I was excited about when he signed for us, but he’s been absolutely awful all season in my opinion.

Still think we will finish 9th on the final day.

Expected it tbh. He was always going to try and prove a point. At least we have an able replacement in Ferguson.
Ffs. That fanny really doesn't like us. Stirling penalty or QoS red incoming. Or both.
Used to referee me, guy is an absolutes jobs worth. Used to treat youth football like the World Cup final.

How many supporters will Queens likely bring through for this? I understand numbers are down this season but it's a pretty big game. 300 - 400?
Lucky if it’s 300 I’d think.

A zipped hoodie? How dare he!
Do you not think it just shows their general attitude and professionalism?

What were they wearing that was so bad? I thought they usually went about in Club tracksuits.
Connelly was wearing a zipped hoody. It’s the fact that all the reserves and youth teams were wearing their suits but some in first team didn’t bother their arse.

I know I sound like a complete Rangers Da but it is a disgrace some of the team turned up to the awards night dressed the way they did. Should have just been sent home at the doors turning up like that.
It’s just a little indicator which shows their professionalism, or lack of in my opinion.

Was anybody at the Awards night last night? Anything said by Bartley?

Communications are really poor - where were Connelly, Mclellend and McGuffie today - suspended, injured, fallen out with manager or signed pre-contacts. I hard all 4 today
Saying that thought playing with a straight front today worked better and McKay was my MOM as kept the tall Edinburgh forward in his pocket all day and scored a set piece goal to ae the last 8 mins more enjoyable
Who have you heard has signed a pre-contract?

Another wonderful decision to effectively utilise Gav as third choice striker by our leader, legend.
Should be a sacking offence alone to use Doherty over him if he’s fit.

Connelly injured? Or has he finally told Bartley to do one?
He likes Bartley.

It still does my head in we are running with a squad of 27 poorly paid and lower quality players, rather than go with a higher quality smaller squad.

Only signed until May 2024 according to Official Site but may of course have been offered an extension. Be happy if he stayed with us.
Yeah I thought that as well, but got told he’ll be with us next season. I presume we offered him an extension as goodwill after that injury ruled him out for the season.

He hasn't offered any contracts yet which I hope means he knows he's getting punted. Murray better be going along with him or not much will change.
Heard we have Minmaugh signed up for next season regardless though.

(Just reply here instead of the match thread)
The concerning thing about this if true is that we shouldn't be expecting him to be sacked then. If promotion wasn't expected then he hasn't failed? Even if that is the case I'd argue he's failed at the development side as well as he's barely played any of our own youngsters.
Well Bartley promised our Board and the players promotion, so yes from his own standards at the start of the season he has failed.

Has our new director actually been to a game yet?

A second half I hear we dominated or is that nonsense?
That is true. Had Hamilton penned in most of the half but still struggled with creating clear cut chances.

Would fancy ICT tbh. Hamilton didn't look like a side who are going to do well in the play-offs, Cove have been inconsistent, Alloa seem to be hitting a terrible spell at a bad time and Montrose are falling off a cliff. At this point I'd expect 9th to come through the playoffs. And obviously hope so as well. As bad as our record against them is, I'd rather have Hamilton and Rankin than ICT or Qu££ns Park.
Would rather ICT in the league next season due to the way their finances are looking and rumours they’d go PT if they came down. Meanwhile I think Hamilton would just chuck money at it again next year in the hope of winning the league if they stay down.

Great news.
I'd have Murphy here, knows how to get the best out of players and play with some attacking intent and passion.
He would surely never want to put himself in the position of potentially sacking his best mate though would he?

I would have a guess the team will be:
Gunn
Patterson
Souttar
Hendry
Tierney
Robertson
Christie
McTominay
Gilmour
McGinn
Dykes

Aye, but will Bartley listen to anyone, experienced or otherwise? He seems to be so rigid in his beliefs about how we should play.
Was thinking that on Saturday actually. Was sat behind them and could see Murray was trying to tell him something and Bartley wasn’t having it at all. My guess is that Murray is effectively no use anyway as any input he has which is different wouldn’t be heard because of Bartley’s ego/delusion.

This is a question for QOTS fans, how do you guys think you would be financially if use got relegated? As obviously being a full time team in league 2 would be an unusual circumstance. Like i’ve previously mentioned, their was never going to be an improvement with Marvin Bartley he is just a radio pundit (and bad at that) we had to deal with Jim Duffy recently, he had all the same traits as MB. They are just football imposters.
Nobody knows. Our Board are walking away at the end of the season regardless and who is taking over hasn’t been announced yet.

I got told opposite by someone working for the club. He said that the cost in putting down the pitch (grants not covering all of it) should mean we have a slightly larger budget. Dunno how true that is though.
