Nonsense, you will need all the money you can get from the Premier.

Last Jan 2021 you were some millions of pounds in debt.

Billy Bowie had to go to the Scottish Government begging for a £1 Million Pound loan.

And then you were relegated with attendant financial losses which meant you couldn't afford players wages so you had to let 15 players go.

Then with 5000 average home gates you had to find money to get Lafferty in January.

So don't come on here bleating about how big deal Killie are and how better off you are, truth is you're in the same boat financially as the rest of us.

All of this is in the public domain.

Champagne ideas and lemonade pockets sums Killie up.

What utter pish from a bitter halfwit

    Grow up

You might never see a night like last Friday again. It’ll be back to trying to finish between 5th and 10th next

You are just in the huff because your part time/ hybrid fairytale failed at the last minute. You got what you deserved after trying to waste time from 15 minutes onwards so dry yer eyes and look forward to the play offs though I can’t see any team from this shite league beating St Johnstone.

Nice day for it. I see we’re doing the ‘it’s not over ‘till it’s over’ thing. Even though it most definitely is over.

I’ll be there anyway. Looking forward to both us and Ayr doing the business and thrashing the opposition. Should be a memorable night.

Really don’t mind if you win but hope Ayr end up where they belong and can have their derby with Queens next season.

To be fair, last season’s team was pretty shite.

Whilst I came into this season thinking we should, and probably would get promoted, at no point did I think it would ever be anything like a one horse race. We’ve never been streets ahead of the likes of Partick, ICT, Raith etc. Plus you always have your surprises, which this season has been Arbroath’s plucky hybrid squad.

Last season’s team was shite but change any of the two goalies for Zach and that team would have strolled this league, lucky for us the standard is diabolical or we would have been nowhere near the top.

At what point did I claim you were the first? What a ridiculous claim.

Most folk knew Killie would do it precisely because it's happened so many times before. It's a terrible standard and injecting better quality players and manager is very likely to result in success. Why wouldn't you break the emergency glass if you can afford it?

This narrative some Killie fans are pushing that they "came back from the dead" is wild though, when they really just avoided an embarrassing failure of failing to win a one horse race.

How was it ever a one horse race? Killie lost most of their squad last season and had to rebuild. It was the media and fans of other teams who seemed to think we should have walked it. If Killie do go on and win the league it should be other clubs who should be embarrassed as it is the worst Kilmarnock team since the 80s

    Tumble weed.....sccchhhh

Nothing to be heard but Killie ass holes flapping in the wind.

QOS were unlucky against us a couple of weeks ago and should have beat Partick on Friday so regardless of what happens on Friday I think it might be Arbroath ass holes flapping although unlike Killie they will be happy with 2nd being a part time/hybrid club and all that!!!

Not upset, just pissed off at some of this garbage today, especially from supporters of some of the eight clubs below us, who would exchange league places with us in a heartbeat, clubs who should in all honesty be embarrassed that how their season has gone, 10 games we were top of the league, 10, Kilmarnock, who really should have skooshed the league and might yet win by a healthy margin, were forced to sack their manager and reinvest in their squad in January, not because they were chasing one of the so called big teams in the league, the fact they were chasing us part time not hybrid, part time Arbroath, we have had a brilliant season and no one is going to take that away from us, none of the teams around us is going to fancy playing us in the playoff or will Dundee or St Johnstone for that matter, if it comes to that, we genuinely have nothing to lose, club is in a brilliant place just now, playing in the championship next season is not going to effect us one bit, we genuinely have nothing to lose, not every club in the league can say that, are you a troll?, probably more an annoying rash , who can’t help himself, but only two aliases, really

I don’t know why you think Killie should have skooshed the league, we lost most of our players( mainly to St Mirren) and had to build a totally new team consisting mostly  of championship and league one players. Changing the manager  and getting Lafferty has been the turning point but  I take your point, the last team I thought would be challenging us right to the end of the season would be Arbroath and despite what some people would have you believe it is far from over yet.

Surely having these local fixtures midweek or on Fridays/Mondays is actually more fan-friendly than having to travel to the other end of the country on those days?

It's also ignoring that there was an Ayrshire Derby scheduled for New Year date but both clubs specifically asked to move it to midweek to allow fans to attend. Meanwhile the Fife Derby did take place on that date, which might as well be a Saturday given that it was daytime on a public holiday.

A lot of people work shifts so can’t make midweek games and taking out the New year game 7 of arguably the leagues biggest games were scheduled  on days other than a Saturday, doesn’t make sense imo.

I'll address the elephant in the room here whilst I'm on, it's a disgrace that an utter diddy, mickey mouse cup final takes precedence over league duties resulting in this game being played midweek. Not a single Fife derby on a Saturday all season. Shambles man.

Spot on, 4 Fife derbies and 4 Ayrshire derbies, not one on a Saturday!! Fans don’t seem to matter to whoever decides these things.

  10. I can't believe how many people seem to have conceded the title to Killie, we have Arbroath to play who have been better than us in all three games we have played, Partick have been better in two of the games, Dunfermline were the better team in both the abandoned game and the replay at Rugby park even though we won the game. With our squad we should go on and win the league from this position but watching the team this season and having been a Killie fan for longer than I care to remember I am taking absolutely nothing for granted.
