Good on you, I was wondering if there were any Clyde fans who weren’t a bunch of doom mongering surrender monkeys. If you are to finish bottom, hopefully the Clyde fans get behind the team towards the play offs. I’ve said for a while now that I think East Kilbride will be in League 2 next season, but you just never know in a 2 match play off, there is always a chance. EK do have a bit of a shaky defence so that could be something to exploit. I would hope that Clyde have someone from the club getting to as many EK a games as they can between now and the play offs so they know everything they can about them. I’ve not forgotten that it could be a Highland League club rather than EK, but I think less likely. I have nothing against EK, they have a decent bunch of fans, but I just want them out the LL now the player recruitment is beyond silly now, so from that point of view it would be great to have Clyde in the LL.

Jack Duncan signed for Tranent, made his debut in LL Cup tie against Strollers last night. Good luck to him, never really got a consistent run in the team.

If you take the B team question out the equation, what about the league is an absolute shambles? I can’t really agree about that other than it could do with some sponsorship and investment. Oh, and get rid of the Lowland League Cup. There were plenty of teams coming to Central Park the L1/L2 days that surely had very little away fans, so not much has changed there. If you add Broxburn/Clydebank and Clyde (sorry guys, just an example) and take away Edinburgh Uni and East Kilbride, that will boost away support further I would have thought.

Not officially as there is always the possibility of no relegation from the Lowland League if one of Elgin or Forfar lost their place in League 2, and the LL champion won the play off. This would keep the LL at 16 teams (excluding the B teams). Unlikely I guess, but not impossible.

What the hell were you guys up to today? Were you doing that thing in youth footie in a one sided match where players switch positions and the striker goes to full back.

There is space for wheelchair users, and I seem to remember some companion seats, both of which are bound to be included in the 499 capacity. I’m sure they would have been pretty careful on this point, with being at precisely 499 seats for a good reason.

It was a really good listen and great to hear 3 players from slightly different eras all speak so fondly of their time at the club, and none of them having any ties originally to the area. All of them would be very good interviews in their own right I would think. Nice to hear from @silkybeathas well. Lets hope we can get the numbers in the CISS up over the next few months leading into next season.

I can’t remember the exact details but it was deliberately fixed at 499 as 500 seats or above had different licensing conditions or something like that. I’m sure someone will come along with a better explanation.

Are all Clyde fans as deluded as you? While EK are not invincible, if you don’t recognise the quality of players in their squad, then you are living in a bubble. Players like Balde having to make do with a place on the bench just one example.

The crowds have held up better than you might have expected following the drop to the LL, of course gate money will be down due to lower admission prices than in the league days. Not sure what you mean about no money coming in. I challenge you to find a supporter base of our size that contribute more to the club financially in different ways than Cowdenbeath fans do, so there is money coming in, but I expect our outgoings on non-player related things are very likely the highest in the LL.

There are a number of teams at this level who on the surface have far less resources than we have, but are doing better than we are. Perhaps they have got used to the league over the years and are a bit more street wise at this level, I don’t know. I don’t think we will finish below Berwick or Gala, the latter especially are a poor team and if we go below them the season has really petered out badly.

It’s £19,500 for losing in the 4th round according to the table doing the rounds, would have got a bit of gate money from ICT tie as well.

The guy has got every right to make a living as he sees fit, and this b list celebrity thing has probably made him some good money, but if he was on my team and he was allowed to dictate when he played and when buggers off to Dubai I would want him launched. At least retain a little dignity.

We were missing a fair amount of regulars yesterday, is there any chance some of them will be back for midweek/next weekend? Also, is Kevin Smith still around, I didn’t notice if he was there yesterday? It was great to see young Brandyn Coventry coming on as well, didn’t look out of place.

If I was a City fan I would want him cut immediately, taking the piss.
