  1. Usually give officials the benefit of the doubt but that was indefensible today from all 3. The happiest I’ve ever been after a loss because for the first time in months I was proud of our performance. We’ll be closer to 4th than 9th come May. McGeady is done, McAllister is so far out his depth, and I think we fucked it by putting Stanger at right back as he was playing a blinder. Would not be against playing Mutch again next week after that either.
  2. The thing that annoyed me most in the Inverness game was that Chalmers looked so easy to nullify. He never made any runs in behind and pretty much hugged the touchline whenever Ahui had the ball, taking himself out the game. On Saturday though he varied his positioning a bit more and it showed in his performance, although it wasn’t anywhere near his best.
  3. 3 times. 2011 was the one you’re probably on about that was the worst. 2016 there was a drive by with a BB gun for a laugh I think but the boy got done. 2019 was a junkie who’d had enough of the abuse at lunch off the weans and leaned out her window with one and started blasting.
  4. Auchinleck has had more school shootings per capita than probably 90% of American schools come to think of it. True story.
  5. A real architectural shithouse in a sea of modern flat-pack Lego school buildings.
  6. Auchinleck Academy was 99% Rangers, 0.5% Celtic, <0.1% Ayr Mauchline is the same. My work is the same. I’ve stomached watching us get beat off Talbot and various scuddings by these mutants. I’ll stomach another one just out of fear of not being there if we ever did beat them. As someone said up a bit, it’s nice to look round and know that you were never sucked into their scummy ways. I’ve even managed to convert an ex-fairweather h*n into an Ayr fan who absolutely loves following them about and will be in the away end next Saturday. Mon the Broon.
  7. Can anyone else watching the Fox coverage confirm that I just saw an advert for Jesus? I’d love to know if anyone has ever converted religion because of an advert. Experiment of a country.
  8. Sound like I’m being edgy and different for the sake of it here but I actually don’t mind the Chiefs. In fact if they’re going to win I’d rather they kept winning enough that they overtook the Pats and Brady’s record as I find them collectively far more likeable. Another edgy take is that I don’t want Detroit to get there or win anything purely out of selfishness as I don’t want even less diddy teams on zero bowl wins like us.
  9. Was impressed with how he started and he got beyond Murphy a good few times but felt he resorted to type as the game went on. Undoubtedly better than McAllister though
  10. Can someone compile McKenzies goal scoring stats with and without Bullen? Massive result and hopefully a game that showed the new management team what’s required to upgrade the lacklustre squad. Two full backs first of all and definitely another midfielder.
  11. Pretty underwhelming tbh. He was fine when he was here before and he’s not an arsehole which beats out Arthur Smith but it’s just so meh. Suppose it could be wise getting a defensive minded guy in to try and make up for losing Nielsen. Not that I wanted Bill in the slightest but this isn’t exactly box office. Will reserve my judgement for next year until we take another running back or something at 8.
  12. The latest excellent idea from Ayrshire’s answer to Mensa.
  13. Surely with modern technology we can get the AI-generated voice of Bruce Buffer to announce goals and substitutions.
  14. Because if they got anyone competent enough then the questions would be too hard.
  15. Think yous are all just being fooled with Callum commentating. Its clearly just a marketing scheme to make the stream so unbearably bad to watch that folk just decide f**k it I’m going to the game instead.
  16. Huge win for Atheists tonight as The Holy Goalie Jr. crosses himself at half time before putting 25 goal kicks into the North Stand and conceding two. Even the Big Man in the sky is against Arbroath…
  17. Blowing across the pitch towards the new stand. Must’ve been a record number of throw ins on that side.
  18. I see he didn’t quite meet the age requirements and was forced to bring Whittaker with him.
  19. Oh how I wish we had a man with chinos to show us what mid-table mediocrity really feels like.
