  1. The one thing I would have liked to have seen this year is us play Rangers or Celtic. I think we couLd have done a lot better than most of the top league in a one-off game.
  2. A joy to see the tramp easily beaten. Hopefully Cove will ditch him although I doubt it given his relationship status.
  3. If it's abandoned in the first half you get a full refund or replacement ticket.
  4. OK we did what we could today to get you back in the playoffs rather than the wee fat tramp. Hope it makes up for last week's pumping - if you get stuck into Edinburgh when it is replayed you should put space between yourselfs and the nepobaby. Good luck.
  5. HI EVERYONE We all know this has been a unique and memorable season. I am currently involved in a Falkirk FC project which will not be announced for a few weeks but I am seeking personal stories from this season from supporters. That could be things that happened to you at or on the way to matches, meeting players, events in your life that this team has made better or influenced. Or whatever. I cannot promise they will be used, but some probably will be - so please write to me at: pablorobo@hotmail.com and I and the club will be grateful. They are needed before April 21st please. You are welcome to share this post on other social media etc. Cheers Pablo
  6. The miracle of a Falkirk Championship win - the crippled will walk again.
  7. Bairn here - I just want to thank Montrose for their tolerance at the end of the game to allow a joyful celebration by fans on the pitch. There are plenty of other clubs that would have been difficult about it (especially after a result like that). It made things a lot more fun for the 2000+ who came up. I hope the income from the crowd helps your club next year and I wish you well in the playoffs (f**k that b*****d Hartley and stop them qualifying please). All the best.
  8. Lets take some comfort that Hartley won't make the playoffs even. f**k you Hartley, we're going to romp the League.
  9. This was my fav ever chant and we only did it once or twice. ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. Always summed up for me our football philosophy.
  10. I see a Likely Lads episode developing here. ALBA can be watched in its entirety from the start if you can avoid the score etc......
  11. A plain-line ballasted track is about £1,000 per metre installed. so how far is the nearest track?
  12. I'm told he cost us 20K. So 40 back - deal? (Actually i like him, sadly he just doesn't fit into our ways of playing).
  13. Slight chance that Aberdeen come down next year and Dundee United fail to go up. While I would love to see Aberdeen come down as revenge for their survival thanks to unreasonable ground size demands either would make next year so much harder. If Raith went up in the payoffs then that would be somewhat good also.
  14. One regret I have for this season is that we did not play one of the largest clubs eg the bigot brothers. I suspect we might have done well against them and only lost on a dodgy VAR penalty. But we will never know.
  15. Falkirk TV guys hated him with vengence because of the way he treated them and his utter arrogance.
  16. Hope he doesn't get in trouble - I imagine the tramp will go ballistic.
  17. Watching the tv match, we could do worse than bring Rudden back as he's grown into being a single striker with back to goal and also Gaston the Arbroath keeper would be someone to consider. After all:
  18. I edited, designed and wrote much of the Millennium Player book - we sold 600+ at £30 each in a month (and I did the whole thing from start to finish inlcuding layout and printing in 6 weeks with others helping all the interviews with the players). The only cost was the printing as we all did it for free. That's something of a profit. I'd love to do something similar if we do an invincible season.
  19. Genuinely I feel for you guys, it's shit when your club is so badly run and you really need a supporters' coup. Been there, done that, got the Heritage strip. What's the chances of you over-turning the Board etc?
  20. Underage drinking - I used to go with Bubble (Brian Guthrie) to the Centurion after each home game. I was 13 and could pass for maybe 16 but no-one cared. I'd manage a crazy 4 or 5 pints then get on a bus home to Denny swallowing polo mints. I only once got drunk enough that my mother realised I was pissed. I think that illegal drinking however made me less of a drinker in later life although I always loved beer. In fact the reason why I drink heavy to this day (and try asking for that from a Millennial bar person these days) was it was the only beer I had heard of when it was my time to go up and buy and I was nervous enough as it was to ask for anything more complicated than "3 pints of heavy please." When did the Centurion close?
  21. I just mistyped. And it was a separate thread I was replying to.
  22. Loy is great - everyone pretty much knew at the time of his second spell here that he had problems behind the scenes. I do wonder if we (the club) supported him in the way he deserved at the time. He seems so honest and I am really pleased he is making it as a pundit (and he roasted that bam Michael Stewart last Saturday on the radio). Edit I replied to the wrong thread here - sorry. It was the one about Loy
  23. I was told a while ago that there were unhappinesses with the Foundation because it had forgotten it was part of the football club. But as I say that was a while ago and I do not have current information (why I feel Ok about stating that).
  24. Why no Morrison - what is his injury? Or did we sell hime to Hamilton after he resigned to us? Joking aside is it serious?
  25. Totten told me a few years ago that he and Dallas hated each other. The animosity went back even before Dallas fucked us in the final by ruling Ollie's goal offside, apparently from Totten's previous clubs.
