I can scarcely remember when I last didn't feel this way in the spring.

The current board have run the club into the ground and squeezed out any enjoyment that I used to have attending matches - I actually now forward to weekends when we don’t have a game.

How has big Joel been getting on?

Quite a few Accies punters roasted him,but they also roasted Dylan Tait and Joe McGlynn…if only there was a link to all three eh?

I don’t think he is as bad as some of our fans made him out to be and would do a job for plenty League 1/2 teams.

    He’s pish

What sort of view are you wanting for £16 at a Scottish league one ground? Sydney opera House perhaps? The hanging gardens of Babylon.  Herds of wildebeest swinging majestically...

All 4 corners of the pitch would suffice.

Looking forward to watching the "crap" view of "clogging" Annan getting one over the so called big team.

    Mon th Annan!!

The view is crap and if you’ve had the “pleasure” of standing in the away end whilst it’s busy then you can’t deny it! also we aren’t big but we will always be considerably bigger than Annan even if you pick up the expected win tomorrow.

What do Queens have to attract a non-local investor? If there is no emotional attachment i can't see what the attraction would be, given the level of investment the stadium requires. Possible feeder team for a team down south? If so i think there are more attractive/less expensive options.

Realistically? nothing! doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be open to interest if it somehow arises that some tycoon really likes the name of the club!

Agree with that. The Norman Blount reboot post the Harkness era is a great example. All this talk of keep it local and don’t look at ‘foreign’ options smacks of small time thinking too….we need to stem the stench of decay and underachievement at Queens now. Starting with a committed, attacking performance and win at the weekend to banish the ghost of Division 2. Then let’s look at a strategic vision with competent people that can propel us upward.

Indeed, this “keeping it local” attitude is extremely limiting and small minded.  If the right person/people were interested then I couldn’t give two hoots where they’re from!

Glad we weren't the only ones who noticed that. The guy treats it like his own radio show! 😂 I really like Palmerston and can't decide whether the PA improves the experience or not.

It certainly does NOT improve the experience- he’s dire.

In the 30 years since the 4 division set up was introduced, Queens have finished in the bottom half of the third tier four times

    94/95 7th on 44 points
    95/96 7th on 43 points
    99/00 9th on 33 points
    00/01 6th on 46 points

This season’s finishing league placing and points total could be the lowest for 23 years and one of the worst in the last 30 years.

And they were when we were part time!

Criminal to be this bad as a full time club.
