  1. Liked so many of those, Dowds at Airdrie cause we needed that joy, any of the goals in the Tuesday night thriller v Thistle, but for Roses’ pass to Murphy that’s my choice.
  2. Yes that’s my understanding too, it was the fact that our last game is the 3rd May and thistle could still have 6games to play. Not sure when those games would finish and I assume he can’t sign a contract until the 1st of July.
  3. For us a match winner on a couple of occasions (in general played well ) but have noticed he has been up and down for you guys perhaps it’s those around needing/getting more of the ball.
  4. I take what you are saying is correct, I noticed that he signed for thistle on the 1st of July so presumably ends end of June and that thought entered my head, thanks for clarifying.
  5. Re Dowds, is it possible for him to play with Thistle again in the playoffs? Tomi injured, if Graham picked up a knock say against us, our season ends but not in playoffs can Thistle extend his contract for a month and play him? just curious if that is allowed (not extending I know that is possible) but could he play?
  6. Only reason to call it a failure is if the club could have done more to keep a player, I assume they have within the framework that they are working with. We may have offered him something as you say. But what we can’t know is what his goal is, he started pro football a little late and would appear to have back up plan if it all goes pear shaped. Think Dunfermline, Falkirk and potentially Livingston (although their financial Situation is unclear) could pay more as well. The balance of power is probably with the player in this case.
  7. In your eyes I guess! Not to say I wouldn’t be happy for him to stay. It is always more complicated players moving on. Mullen, Bell and Muirhead examples of that.
  8. It was very smooth for me and I had to authorise payment on my bank app.
  9. Looked back it was £285 for me in April last year but the actual price was £300
  10. You will pay more for the north stand ST so I guess the walk up price will be more than the standing price
  11. He made the run in on goal which got us the penalty guess he felt he won it he should take it, as long as he score I’m not too bothered. Think Saunders was pointing out that Max Boruc was standing on the penalty spot and perhaps trying to rough it up. I’m sure they will sort it out in training next week. Dowds missed 3 good chances in the second half and at least one against Morton so needs someone putting a bit of pressure on him. Do like Chalmers but he sometimes try’s to make a simple pass in an all to difficult way.
  12. It’s really difficult to predict anything around football for instance after the season we had in the first division with Shankland etc then into championship you could have expected a decent increase in home attendance but it didn’t materialise. You are right it is a balance and the board need to make that decision based on what they know and what they believe will happen, the new hospitality may be the way they balance the books and take a risk not to increase walk up prices etc.
  13. Considering the way energy prices alone have gone up it wouldn’t be a surprise if there is an increase in tickets and the new stand will perhaps have a premium attached.
  14. Email didn’t mention price, last year if you bought early you got it a that season price it may be something like that this year. It did say there was an option to pay up, a deposit then pay off balance only through the ticket partner on line.
  15. Wasn’t there last night but at the Raith game he was shouting so loud I thought it was someone behind me.
  16. We defended well in the first half for 45 mins Dempsey and McHugh where stopping their wingers coming inside freely, 3min after McHugh going off we lose a goal from exactly that. It was a lottery in the wind, few more shots in the second half and it may have been different.
