Club statement says a change in Chris Ross's personal circumstances has led to decision as well as a desire to spend more time with his young family.Chris has also said in statement he will stay in job until a successor is found .As CEO is basically in charge of day to day non football related operations I don't think there will be much disruption and can only wish the guy all the best .

Stanway looked OK when coming off yesterday so hoping it's just precaution from the physio and nothing too bad .We really need his vim and vigour in midfield if we are to progress.

If Airdire get pumped on Friday night I would be tempted to protect key players and give the youngsters a bit more match time in prep for the playoffs .

Been close affairs so far this season and last against RR but just don't seem to get the rub of the green against them when it counts .Capable of beating them but equally capable of mucking it up so who knows,especially in light of recent injuries .Will probably end up looking at the Airdrie score through my fingers at Stark's Park this Saturday .

Airdrie seem to be the the inform team and I would bet my neighbour's house on them finishing third.Saturday a big game for us in terms of playoff intent and how our team shape restructures post Lawless injury.

Who know's ,played part of a game for us then got injured again .Rumoured to be ready to play but been hearing that for a while now.If he does he'll be far from match fit so probably not much impact for us this season alas just adding to our now already horrendous injury list.

Assuming we make playoffs and Ayr don't , is there anything stopping us from using Dowds for remainder of season ?.If so the Diack backup plan for wee Stevie might work with a more direct line to goal mouth rather than skinning your man and crossing from touchline.....or am I just clutching at straws ?.
