I assume he is trying to take the high ground and talk about forgiving society and rehabilitation etc. I agree there is a difficult conversation to have about what role convicted rapists have in society (as well as murders etc), however, in a public facing role forgiveness and acceptance has to be earned. Goodwillie has done absolutely nothing to move this forward. If anything, he is still dragging it backwards. I hope Clyde have the balls not to take him back.
