  1. Please refer to my post from yesterday... I don't think anyone should get carried away but talking about a scenario that didn't happen in the midst of a 25 game unbeaten run just after you've beaten a - distant - rival 4-0 is an odd choice.
  2. We gave Burrell better service tonight than we did last season! Can see why he's been so prolific against most other teams but Tom Lang had him in his pocket pretty much all night. Absolute masterclass.
  3. The dandy Dons followers had their fill on Saturday then
  4. So many subtexts to this game that I think this is just one of many reasons those associated with Cove will be keen to take the points but not the major one. We've always had a target on our back and this is just another one . Hopefully it's 25 come Wednesday morning and we continue the disappointing season those Aberdeen fans are having.
  5. Stop the service, stop the goals. As we know, Burrell doesn't create a great deal on his own and if we can isolate him then he can be nullified. I've got faith that Tom and Coll can manage him on Tuesday while Hendo, Spencer and Nesbitt dominate the midfield and stop the supply.
  6. Thought we had gotten past the rubbish in the stadium chat
  7. Williamson has posters of Aiden Nesbitt on his wall
  8. I wasn't far off . The SA lot predicting a clean sweep clearly don't follow them home and away! Great performance from us today
  9. There is zero evidence that will happen. Another support who CBA attending 30 mins from their patch. Will be lucky if they muster 150 tomorrow.
  10. Seems buying for a family of 4 was problematic. Appears limited to two tickets, so 2 adults and 2 U16 had to go through as separate transactions. Definitely not as slick as it could (or should) be.
  11. I do hope that's a hint of sarcasm I detect . Stirling Albion are the footballing equivalent of the Scooby-doo villain - If it wasn't for those pesky kids* ... * Insert excuse here: Too tired, part-time etc, etc
  12. Sorry but Bino's fans had us under the impression that you were some promotion juggernaut coming for the clean sweep against us . Our mistake, clearly
  13. All the Morrison speculation reminds me of when Steve Tosh back left in the McCall season. He was absolutely flying IIRC, seemed irreplaceable but we had so many good players that year he was almost forgotten by the end of that season and as we all know finished Champions. Would be sad to see Morrison go and he has been a great player for us but that is the cycle.
  14. Brilliant. Could you stop by the farm next time and drag some of your fellow fans along as well too. My point is I don't think it's Falkirk fans needing lectures about travelling all over the country when some can't even cross a bridge.
  15. Interested to know if you attended the Falkirk stadium for the game earlier this year? Seems to be a massive trek for Alloa, Edinburgh City and Stirling Albion fans it seems
  16. It was also on Shanley's announcement on the official site*. Glad to say the site and frequency of updates is better than it was in this regard. * mutters something about how neglecting the site previously lead to this
  17. The one from Accies is probably being hand written in quill as we speak and bound to the foot of a carrier pigeon
  18. I'd also put Gary Oliver into this category as well. He's not clinical enough up-front and no way he get's in ahead of Nesbitt, Miller or Spencer in the creative/attacking midfield roles. I'd think both Allan from his demeanour and Oliver due to his age will be one's pushing to move in January - unless we get offers for these guys and he gets another chance.
  19. In regards to Burrell, I think it was purely that John identified that we needed a physical presence which neither he or Allan are, up top and finances dictated that he would leave having signed Allan in the January. Alegria was the first attempt and Oliver filled the link role albeit lacks the height to be an aerial presence that MacIver is. We've now got good variation in the strikers role but the nub is there's only one in McGlynn's system that can start and MacIver plays to the teams strengths. Shanley may also be capable of doing similar but I can't see Allan being any more than a bit-part player now.
  20. Still buzzing from Saturday and pleasing to see that all the antics Accies employed failed to deter the fans and the team. Changing up the ball "boys" even more embarrassing than the ticket nonsense
  21. Email one of the supporters services contacts.
  22. I think if Hendo was stocky and diminutive he'd get away with many of the bookings he gets. Due to his stature and height I think refs immediately sense it's clumsy and mistimed. Some of the bookings have been harsh.
