Sorry read this after my post and this is along the lines of what I meant.

One thing I have noticed, certainly with clubs like Kilmarnock, Partick and Morton is that the club themselves promote these supporters societies as being integral parts of those clubs. I still feel like the FSS is seen as an arm's length organisation at the moment - a bit like the CI - except with the representation at board level. As it is, it's not even listed alongside other offshoots such as 1876 club, Business Bairns or Junior Bairns and it really should be in my view. I appreciate the club has put out news articles but they will drop off over time if the society is quietly working away in the background.

If this is the chance shown in the highlights then it appears his movement was to shield the ball, failing to do so, and the defender manages to toe it away.

Would assume 4pm close tomorrow. Looks like late opening was for tonight (Wednesday) only.

Sadly I haven't but it's clear that Hugh Clarke must have a more plausible ruse on-the-go than Campbell did as the latter never managed to complete on any of his marks whereas Clarke Epos have fooled folk at every tier of the Scottish sport.

T'is a wee bit harsh. We're not the only one's to have fallen for this shyster.

A case of mistaken identity on my part. It's not him. Case closed
-
Have to agree with an earlier reply to this but I now doubt it is him.

The house of cards Clarke ePOS built looks like it's beginning to crumble. Quick search last week when it was mentioned returns lots of publicity for the company setting up "record sponsorship" deals with various SPFL clubs, Juniors, Lowland league and Women's teams - one could easily be forgiven for thinking they're main business was sponsoring not online transactions! How they managed to hoodwink so many is an embarrassment.

Goodwillie comment incoming in 3-2-1 ...

I can't be certain but is that Harry Burgoyne playing as trialist for Peterhead in their defeat to Dundee at the weekend
-
They are part of the solution but the club also needs other revenue streams to increase (advertising, merch etc) to plug the shortfall/ increase budget.

Sibbs is an ambassador for Pro Performance Academy (or something like that) based out of Little Kerse. Charlie Telfer, Cameron Blues and Stephen Kingsley have all been down LK recently getting ready for their respective pre-seasons, wherever they may be so Sibbs probably doing same.

I'd rather spend my time discussing stuff that could be easily rectified and improve some supporters experience than worry about Jaime Wilson getting game time against Stranraer or analyse if Williamson will ever make a player. That's been done to death on here too but I won't complain if others want to discuss it. Handily on P&B I can be ignored

It's not stupid at all. Info like this that removes a barrier to entry - pardon the pun - is helpful and frees up a club employee to do something else instead of answering a phone all day.
-
... and Season Ticket and strip advertising is for last year too. It's not Crunchy Carrots fault as designers - that's on the club to provide the updated content as it's built on a CMS which should make it manageable. The argument the employees doing it are part-time/volunteer doesn't wash as there's all manner of tools they obviously have to hand to run this with minimal resourcing. Hate knocking this stuff but I just want the club to maximise every avenue they can.
-
Perhaps. I can understand they know that Stranraer aren't going to bring a big crowd so we'd want to get the home support out. The benefits of the new system were lauded in the ST letter etc but I'm not seeing it being utilised. I bought tickets for the Crunchie game online so the club obviously can know their customer - why not send me an email advertising the Stranraer one with a link straight to purchase.
-
Did you get someone on the line?
-
Your inadvertently making my point. Much less attractions and distractions in those days and onus on the customer to seek the info. Majority of people now have the internet in their pocket so clubs can directly appeal to them. I'll look out for you riding your horse to a match
-
Just phone the club and it'll be sorted in 2 mins. If only we had a new online ticketing system ... Apologies for the sarcasm but the reason stuff like this irks so much is because it's basic, bread-and-butter stuff. For example, why does it take a few days to add the tickets as advertised? Why not add the tickets and communicate they can be purchased now. I heard it's main stand only as they expect a small crowd but it's been poorly marketed so that's unsurprising.
-
I suspect I'm in the minority but my ST renewal process has been poor this year. Couldn't update my renewal package to add another ticket on and change my ticket type and now I don't get the option to. Held off while teething issues were resolved but similar issue exists with buying ST without the renewal prompt. On the other hand, was impressed with the new entry system and QR codes on Friday night.

Said the exact same thing to my brother. Willing runner but no desire to actually go in where it hurts I suspect.

Ironic that we switched to training on grass, partly, to avoid injuries and we've ended up losing a whack of the team in the 1st week

I'm not sure he's had a fair crack of the whip to be honest and I don't honestly know if he's any good or not. When my son was collecting signatures, he was brilliant with him and recognises him for a chat before games. I can't fault him for that as it would be easy for him to skulk considering many fans opinion of him and his father. Apart from possibly one Twitter blip (as I can only vaguely recall) he has been as professional as he could be under the circumstances.

Definite PSG vibes regarding the home kit. If it is to be a white away kit then I hope the old board went all in on the PSG theme Just hoping we have a team fit to wear it - wouldn't want to label this squad Pretty Shit Guys in their PSG-esque kits.
