  1. Privileged to see three cup finals, privileged to see so many brilliant days at Brockville, privileged to see so many players that the young team, young supporters, and the Ultras can only read about, privileged to walk with nearly three thousand fans at our way to Vaduz. Yesterday was something more special. Feel like the fans, club, and players have earned and got our identity back, maybe some respect from others who have slaughtered us being down here, and probably deserved. Thanks for giving our Falkirk back.
  2. Watching the highlights this game could easily have finished 11-3. Hats off the Montrose goal, great pass and execution. However our seven were better…..
  3. Did you check your wallet or watch we’re still in place…….
  4. If it’s any consolation, we’ve been threatening for weeks to give a good hiding to someone, unfortunately the game set itself up with the result of our rivals just before we kicked off, a very large away support, and the late live TV slot. Wouldn’t be too harsh on the Montrose players as we simply clicked all over with guys like Mackie who’s started less than half a dozen games, looking like he had ballet shoes on. When our top scorer doesn’t hit the net, when we’ve scored seven just sums up our day. The town and people of Montrose were brilliant and people waving from their houses and town centre will live with many of the Falkirk people, forever. Sincerely hope you do well in your quest for the playoffs.
  5. A magnificent special day that makes up for the lows of the past five years. Fantastic hospitality from all the Montrose pubs and people, will never forget a certain full time score being confirmed, the pub went crazy with many a tear from old and young. Next two hours I felt like we were on a different planet. Cant single out any player, the squad were simply sensational. Thank you.
  6. Early start and so much looking forward to the game. The low key approach that M&S and the players are taking is exactly what’s required. Same application, hard work and effort as we’ve shown all season and won’t be far away. COYB
  7. Not to fussed with him signing. It’s clear that he’s a really good shot stopper but work needed for his distribution and commanding his territory. As said he’s young and a mountain of a guy. Wishing him all the best and interesting to see what develops with someone coming in.
  8. May have missed but any update on ticket sales.
  9. What a shite performance tonight. Yes NI played 11 behind the ball, but looked like we couldn’t give two f….
  10. For anyone connected to the FSS, has there been a significant number of members now transferred to the new payment(s) ? For anyone going to Montrose; https://montrosefc.ticketco.events/uk/en/e/montrosefc_v_falkirkfc
  11. The guys had a wonderful season and if he keeps up with his great form and goals, let’s not be kidded there’s going to be a great deal of interest come the close season. If it’s straight two year deal, it’s a great bit of business by the club. But let’s not get carried away, it’s football and contracts can be manipulated for the benefits of player club and agent.
  12. I heard from a reliable source that if you drive to the ground, there’s a car park just past the entrance to the park, but didn't want to say as I'm sure the source was drinking sherry.
  13. Catching up on the fans (Montrose) thoughts on their recent matches. Looks like their form is at best average, but appear to be stretched with players available. Yes it will be difficult match, but with our current form, and with the proper application and want, should be able to finally tick the box.
  14. Great post - for me some notables missing a certain super SAM ?
  15. Morrisons form across the season has been great, top scorer for now, and a tremendous four goals yesterday. I,ll leave it for the experts on what is a legend, but being quite adrift from being a teen now, there’s quite a few players I would consider in that status in front of him.
  16. Great day and after a subdued first opening fifteen, albeit against a very open Edinburgh side, we strolled it. Morrison undoubtedly MOM, but thought Donaldson Mackie and Tait were superb. For the purpose of rotating the squad Bisland is not a patch on Yeats, and when replaced we looked so much stronger. So it’s Montrose when we can officially seal the title. If there’s any trains geeks reading this , appreciate train times and return from any local stations.
  17. Said in the hospitality after the game. Any comments made after an afternoon on the Sherry, I tend not to say unless backed up.
  18. Would imagine that with Lang’s injury, there will be more focus on adding an experienced CB for back to Lang & Donaldson.
