  1. Someone’s posted on X, brilliant and players looked stunned with the youngsters. This you can’t buy, the clubs future in good hands. Special thanks to a Mrs Sarah !
  2. Sorry completely disagree. It’s brilliant that we could be on course for filling 90% of the stadium. Our reward - Champions and a team to be bloody proud of. The club needs revenue and it’s fantastic to have 2000/2500 fans more than our average gate this years, attending the game, however who are these people? If we can maintain our great form and fill the stadium albeit, for me it’s a party day regardless. Montrose a week ago will still be the highlight for me. Fans (both sides) pubs, atmosphere, game, Falkirk after the game, just a brilliant day/night.
  3. Said this yesterday, but as posted it throws the FY out.
  4. Would love to keep Tait, Yeats, and Mackie. Tait would be a top signing (arguably yesterday was a masterclass/best 60 minutes I’ve seen a young player dictate and give players like Nesbitt and Spencer so much ball to completely take the piss) Shanely feel a bit for. He’s up against MacIver who’s hold play and positioning is best in the division. (Albeit should have more chances tucked away) McGlynn will already know who’s likely going to come in/out. Really hoping Tams injury clears up with no lasting worry, which makes keeping MacKie so important for me.
  5. With the huge upturn/improvements in general across all the goods available (huge thanks to all the marketing team/club shop / Greaves) why not miss a trick and get the STs available now? More time for many to budget especially with summer hols approaching when the STs normally come around.
  6. Regarding Tait, Hibs defeat yesterday may work in our favour, looks increasingly like they may miss out on the top section split. If so high chance that their squad will be emptied as carrying a pretty large numbers.
  7. Who knows what the close season will bring, a few really good signings and I’m sure that we’ll see a decent uptake in STs and the PATG support next season.
  8. Interesting to see how this develops. Have a neighbour who is a mad Well ST fan and has suggested that going forward they will need further fan and/or external investment.
  9. Think perfect storm sums it up perfectly. Probably the worst I’ve seen Montrose play, but you will play so much better. Petrie was a manager we’d have taken over the past three seasons. Good luck in the remaining games.
  10. Cove has Gretna written all over it, the only difference - they've got individuals who are propping the club up., not just one. With attendances not even reaching 1K, I’m sure the constant inputting will eventually peter out.
  11. Considering there’s barely been any significant away numbers at the TFS, (SA & Accies arguably) pretty impressive stats. At least we’ll have decent away numbers next year, which hopefully contributes a decent wedge of the shortfall cash.
  12. Don’t think there’s anyone talking any player(s) down, just trying to bring some realism of what’s required for next season. Can’t remember the last time we had the majority of players who we want not only signed for next season, but for two, and we’ve still five games of the existing season to play. I for one didn’t fancy McIvor, but the guys been an absolute pleasure to watch. His overall positioning/hold play has been the best in the division, his goals tally very good. McGlynn has been a shark in the transfer market, if we want to be anywhere near challenging at the top four places, and with reference to many who have posted, another GK, CB, (maybe 2MF) CF are minimum requirements. McGlynn we trust.
  13. If JM can pull off signing Tait (full year left on Hibees payroll) and Ross, I agree it would be 3/4 after this two. Mackie performance at LCB has probably given the manager a huge headache (positive) as I reckon he may have been heading towards the exit door. His form in such a short space of time has been nothing short of brilliant. However he’s only first choice due to Lang’s absence. Still think we need GK ( RB if Yeats goes to the rumoured StJ/Dundee/UTd ) if we don’t get Tait/Ross we’d be looking at 2 similar types. CF and a couple of fringe players/loanees.
  14. A decade + of atrocious mismanagement and after a brilliant weekend, sorry mate don’t need this shite flagged up two days later.
  15. No embarrassment, three generations doing the hop
  16. McGlynns already stated that he’ll be looking at adding further quality for next season to compete in what’s going to be a cracker of a league. Theres a few players across the existing championship I’m sure he’ll already be discreetly enquiring about. Who are we to argue with when he plucked Miller & Ross when both were toiling. I’m sure the scenes on Saturday and the press coverage will maybe go a long way with potential targets. I said earlier that I wouldn’t pick out a player(s) out from Saturday, but watching the highlights for the tenth time, Mackie & Donaldson were just slightly more excellent than the others.
  17. Greaves Sports ain’t hanging about, home tops and new T shirts with “champions” now on sale
