Nah, sorry Last Laff, you could pick and choose the odd occasion here or there for anyone in the league. Boyle is a serial offender and his game is now fucked because he can’t get away with it anymore.

Odd occasion? How many times have Shankland and Forrest been booked for diving?  Vargas is a diving little rat too.  All facts. Boyle is just as bad, at least we can acknowledge that sooks.  Vargas booked for diving St Johnstone, dived twice in one game v us,

You can dress it up any which way you want but it’s cheating." Kenneth Vargas Hearts tumble earns him 'unrepentant cheat' tag as forward accused of practising diving

He is a diving wee rat. Defenders probably just started weighing up the consequences of actually smashing him, instead of him throwing himself through the air like a paper plane. Going to get booked for it anyway, so might as well let the cheating wee p***k have a souvenir.

He lost a yard of pace for sure. Problem is, that is all he ever had. He was never a very good footballer to begin with. VAR has basically neutered the guy.

A little like that rat Vargas in that respect, aye.  Unfortunately that rat got away with conning the ref to get you boys a draw in the last derby.   Shankland likes a dive too as does Forrest, so a bit of a pot kettle moment for you there, Kyle.

I was a teenager when Vlad turned up at Hearts. My view on the world is very different now. It's also a very different situation. He was a dodgy geezer rather than the issue of what Hibs have entered into.

And you actually touch on an interesting point there. Hearts had no choice. We were fucked, basically. Hibs have entered into this with no real need to do so.

Anyway. All been gone over before.

    That's understandable mate.

True, it's because of that I have confidence it will be in the best interests of the club.  We might sign players by mistake then get knocked out cups by playing them when suspended, hire shite managers and go from one farce to the next on the pitch but off the pitch all signs since the Gordons took over suggest they know exactly what they are doing in expanding the club commercially, and they make solid business decisions.  We aren't becoming a feeder club as part of a group remember, they have a minimal amount of shares within the club and our majority shareholders will simply not allow that to happen.

Anyways as you said we have been all over the stuff previously and im fucking scunnered with Hibernian until after the summer.

    Outlined at length why previously.

I find it equally baffling that so many supporters are happy to be cavalier with the future of their club.

Similar to people who aren't bothered about Livingston finding it strange that I object to them.

Governance of football matters. Scottish football has come through all kinds of problems relating to how our clubs have been run over the years, and I think this is a potentially reckless move, and potentially a very difficult to solve problem for the future.

Cool mate, it wasn't a go, just mystifies me.

You hope it's a reckless move that provides difficult problems in the future, lets be honest about that though. :)

I personally think it's a good thing, the proof will be in the pudding very soon though.  Partly wishful thinking on my part I admit.  I also believe the Gordons have the right intentions for our club and they would do anything not to tarnish Ron's legacy.  If it was actually Ron Gordon entering this partnership for the club I would actually be more apprehensive.

Media reporting at the time of the Foley deal said the following.

"The SFA’s articles on dual interest state that nobody who is involved in the management or administration of a club, or has any power to manage or influence the management or administration of a club should be able to do so for another club."

I'm not down with the details here. Did the SFA change that section of the articles, or are Hibs now just quite clearly flaunting the rules?

If we're going to go down the road of allowing this kind of thing, then it needs to be codified rather than it now just becoming acceptable for clubs to pick and choose which rules of the governance of our game they follow.

The whole thing seems to bother you more than it does anyone else on this forum mate.   Unsure as to why you give a shit so much.

Talking of the League Cup group stages, it reminds me of the last time we were in that, first home match it was roasting - me and a mate had been for a few beers, sunnies on and getting burnt in the East.

We subbed on Bojang and after 30 seconds we looked at each other and went "this guy must have won a prize draw to play".

Of course that period also ended with the signed/not signed/ mistake with Rockys registration and being penalised in the LC group as he played when suspended 😆.

Is hoping for a less shambolic summer too much to ask?

    Was that Bonnyrigg mate?

What a fucking shambles all that turned out to be - it's not actually got much better since.

From the small amount I've seen, he's tried to implement a style that didn't suit his squad.

So many managers make this mistake that it baffles me.

It amazes me that he passed the interview "so Monty do you think you will get better out this squad and play to their strengths?"  Na mates (fake aussie twang) I need shree windows....f**k off.

Another sacking? Don't think he needs a full season out the way to ditch some driftwood?

Just seems Hibs keep sacking managers and appointing more of the same quality.

No, he's made the team he inherited even shiter with better players added in January, an utter failure of a manager.  We sacked Brent for not doing well enough and brought in the Yorkshire Stephen Kenny.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out BK are involved in football decisions though does it?

Though I doubt the SFA are even remotely interested tbh, was more just curious about the situation.

Of course they will be involved, there are two directors from them on our board.  If the SFA are sound with that then it's free reign really.

I couldn't give a shit personally, I just want a half decent team on the pitch and to give you c***s a run for your money.

  10. 52 minutes ago, Tony Wonder said:

Lots of media etc saying things like Montgomery is "under Foley's microscope" and reporting that he/BK group aren't happy.

That's not sustainable surely without it being obvious?

I mean clearly they'll say one thing while doing another, but the SFA are surely monitoring the situation given dual ownership is a new thing.

Then again, that'd rely on them being remotely competent.

The media are merely guessing based on the statement.  The dinnae have a clue.

  11. 56 minutes ago, Zing. said:

They are conducting a review and feeding back to the board as a whole, not making any final decisions.

Do I believe that for a second? No probably not. As soon as the deal went through Foley and another from the group were straight onto the board. They’ll have a say in the direction we go in next but obviously won’t be seen to make any of the final decisions themselves.

As long as Benjamin Kensell and Ian Gordon are miles away from the football department I’ll be happy enough.

Its shite for Montgomery and doesn’t give me much hope for many points over the next five games, 11th isn’t out the question…

You would have thought they would have done some review before investing.

f**k Montgomery, no sympathy for the guy at all, he's a total fraud.

  12. 17 minutes ago, Tony Wonder said:

I thought part of the investment from the BK group was conditional on them not having any say or authority on the football side of the club?

That statement sounds very much like they are heavily involved.

Think it's a bit of a shite statement tbh. Touch of arrogance that you are somehow above a bottom 6 finish, and it doesn't do anything for Montgomery's position either way.

Back him or get rid surely? Instead that reads like he's left in limbo and leaves him open to shite questions from the press for the remanider of the season making it even harder for him.

The p***k should quit if it's too much for him.  f**k feeling sorry for a pish underperforming manager who has made a fortune over playing and managing in fitba.

  13. Sack the f**k hibs.  jeezo.

This seems the same shite when we waited fucking ages for a director of football when the team on the pitch was pish and all we needed to do was be patient.  We are most patient c***s in the world.

They should have just said "sorry support for another shite season, gies your season ticket dosh and shut your mouths".
