My post wasn’t related to plastic pitches it was regarding a previous poster’s comment. I don’t disagree with some of your post but I’ll stick by my belief that plastic pitches just add to the overall decline in our game. There was a post today on another thread about the club running out of hot food before HT. No point in a plastic pitch if the rest of your day out is crap. I agree with you on the OF, but 12 clubs that can’t/ won’t play on grass on what is supposed to be our PREMIER league? I

Exactly what you said. Plastic devalues the game. To quote a Mr Hearn of the snooker and darts fraternity when giving a presentation to the Directors of Scottish clubs with regard to improving their product, “ I don’t know much about Scottish football but listening to your financial figures, doesn’t seem like you do either” What percentage of fans in Scotland watch English Premiership games on the telly, then ask yourself what percentage of English fans make the same effort to watch a Scottish game.

Can we all just agree that the only thing worse than our defending last night was the officiating.

I won’t disagree but at what time of the game did he use his subs in relation to how we were playing and wasn’t it recognised that we collapsed afterwards? I thought at the time that they were needless/panic subs. Or is my memory already deceiving me?

We are such an ineffective team compared to last season. That’s two games with the Arabs and we’re so far off the pace, look at our goals scored and conceded in those two games. Other than taking in some extra cash, the playoffs - if we get there- will be pointless. I wouldn’t be surprised if tonight’s game knocks a few hundred off our home attendances for the rest of the season.

I don’t know if it’s due to naïveté but if it isn’t then our Dools is struggling.

And another thing ………………Sneddon has to be dropped. Mr McCall was too polite to say so but he cost us the play offs against ICT two seasons ago and hasn’t improved since then. e.g. tonight’s first goal, same old weakness.
