    Any team from any pot can end up as E3, F2, D1 etc. It’s made planning that bit more difficult.

    In terms of which grounds I’d like to visit, D1 is probably what I hope for, although it’s a fair amount of travelling. Have been to Cologne and Munich, so a position that doesn’t have either of those twice (or both) would be appreciated.

    Suspect it won’t come to it anyway but I’d probably pay the €150, although I’d really rather not. I doubt I’ll get the time off to stay for any potential knock out games, so might as well make the most of it while I’m there.

    Good chance I’ll end up cancelling everything I’ve booked anyway, was basically just to cover our arses in case prices properly shoot up once the draw is made.

    Booked places in Hannover and Mannheim as well for this very reason. Far cheaper, obviously. Leaving it for the rest of them to decide when the draw is made. Just hoping we’re drawn in Group B, D or F so the place in Frankfurt isn’t an option.

    Not that McDiarmid is anywhere near anything special but you really aren’t missing much with the Excelsior.

    Can’t see it. Few years ago they went for Hibs v Cove over our game at Kelty, which on paper at the time (and reality) was infinitely more interesting. It’ll be Spartans v Hearts and either Forfar-Hibs or Clyde-Aberdeen.
