We’re either going to be fucked, or these injuries are going to be a perfectly timed rest towards the end of a long season.

Unless he’s torn it, or something else goes wrong, I think in Tierney’s case it could be timed well - famous last words of course. Should recover from an adductor injury within six weeks.

Anyone know where i can get the Blue/pink chevron top? 3rd top 1988 / 1990 With Badges? Not wanting the score draw ones, retro strips without the badges just don't look right.  all the websites i've seen are plain shirts with no badge or logo. Scotland Blue/Pink 1990 Leisure Shirt – Premier Retros

I think I got mine from here - https://www.retrofituk.org.uk/shop/p/scotland-bluepink-1990 - for Euro 2020, although I can’t find the email to confirm it. Both the Umbro logo and Scotland badge are itchy as f**k though.

What are the dates for Euros squad announcement/friendlies etc?

I'm assuming there isn't an opportunity now for Clarke to call up a larger group and then trim it down for final squad.

7th June for the final Euros squad. Was announced 19th May the last time, with the deadline being 1st June.

  4. Union Berlin 1-5 Bayern Munich

Not so much random as I’ve had a membership for a couple of years but finally got the chance to see Union at home, and result aside, it didn’t disappoint. The best ground I’ve ever been to.

Bayern were totally ordinary in the first half and were fortunate to be going in ahead, let alone leading by two. Second half was a different story as they began to flex their muscles and added another three in the space of 15 minutes. Found it quite interesting that nobody left until the full time whistle and some even stayed well beyond that!

  5. Nürnburg 0-2 Paderborn

Not a great night for the hosts, whose ultras were handing out leaflets before the game protesting against the manager (I think) and playing down the achievements of Bayer Leverkusen due to them not being 50+1. Can’t imagine they’re fond of VAR today either - a goal disallowed for offside and a penalty ruled out for encroachment. Some atmosphere nonetheless. German football is just better, and yes, I did do the typical British tourist thing and end up absolutely blootered.

  6. Union Berlin Women 10-0 FC Stern Women (Polytan Cup Semi)

Despite going ahead after 10 minutes, the first 20 minutes or so looked like it would be a decent contest, but a seven minute hattrick from Sarah Abu Sabbah killed that notion. Two more goals followed before half time - guess who got one of them. Union added another couple quickly after the break and at 8-0 after an hour it became very much a passing exercise. Abu Sabbah added another couple in the last few minutes to take her tally for the evening to six.

Free entry so really cannot complain.

  7. Kilkenny’s Irish Boozer the best bet for watching the Dundee game tonight? Expecting it to be difficult with there being Champions League on.

Edit - Aye, no chance. Couldn’t even get a place to stand in there. Will make do with watching Bayern v Arsenal in Denkmal.
