  1. Hmm could be. Just seems really strange. Mcglynn has stated previously you don’t change a winning team. I get wanting to bring Hendo back into the team but would feel really disheartened if I was Mcann.
  2. Not defending Mcanns performance but bit strange he was the one that got dropped for Hendo. Maybe that had something to do with his shaky performance.
  3. He was superb today, that first pass to Ageyman was sensation. The second one for the goal wasn’t too bad either! I also think a lot of his performance have got to do with Mcglynn, he even said that in his interview on Alba.
  4. Morrison for me. We have been spoiled with his goals these past few seasons but he’s took it to another level this year. I think if Morrison had been a new signing this season he would be winning it hands down. 21 goals in the league for a winger is absolutely insane, and the league isn’t even over yet.
  5. What’s the rules regarding terracing in the premiership these days?
  6. Morton have some very good players tbh. Oakley included. The boy Tyler French on loan from Dundee I would take in an instant. He’s just like a right footed Liam Henderson. Can play Centre back, right back, centre mid and left back at a push.
  7. Although I love big Ross McIver and he suits the system down a T, and is also one of the main reasons we are doing so well, you would have to argue we should be looking to improve in that area and bring in another striker. I think he’s scored 12 goals in the league for us this season, which is a great return(and still 5 games left to go!) but surely even he’ll be disappointed he’s not (so far) managed to break that 20 barrier. Like I said he’s pivotal to the way we play, but if we want to do well next season and ultimately compete for promotion a striker that can get us 20 goals in the championship needs to be on the transfer list.
  8. Totally agree. I still think it was the right decision to sack them, but I personally don’t put them in the same bracket as sheerin, McKinnon, holt, Hartley or rennie. But I might have my navy blue tinted glasses on when I say that!
  9. This is really saying something but apart from Mcglynn M&M probably had the best recruitment out of the managers we have had since being relegated. I’m not saying they didn’t sign some absolute donkeys but they probably don’t get enough credit from bringing Calumn Morrison to the club. They also brought in guys like Dowds and Keena, who yes maybe didn’t set the show on fire at the Falkirk stadium, but were obviously good players and have went on to have success elsewhere.
  10. Got a draw written all over this one imo. But I wouldn’t actually be that disappointed with that. Keep the undefeated record then win the league the week after at home to cove….against you know who
  11. Just watched Bartleys interview from the Annan game. Deary me, you lot weren’t lying when you said he blames everyone apart from himself. But the thing that would frustrate me the most is the questions/ statements the interviewer asks. She constantly agrees with him and almost phrases the question in a way to say it’s not his fault but the players fault. Safe to say I would be fucking ragin if I was a queens fan. If he’s annoyed the players aren’t doing what their told or maybe not good enough to do what he’s asking, surely he should be blaming himself for poor recruitment?
  12. Yeah I’m a little bit worried as well. Everyone who you would without a doubt want signed up for next season has had their contract extended - bar Finn. Also we signed 22 year old Keelan Adam’s from the junior league for next season. Coincidence? Or does Mcglynn know that Finn is away or perhaps isn’t offering him a contract extension.
  13. That would be a pretty weird and heavily in advance team selection decision. Would it not?
  14. Read what I have said again and how highly I rate him. I’m simply pointing out how he does make some really daft mistakes. Whether it’s playing Mcann right back at Kelty, making 6 changes and completely changing the system at Edinburgh, or rotating keepers as soon as one gets settled (I agree Hogarth maybe isn’t the answer but he just got man of the match), or not making a change when were 5-0 down at Airdrie after 35 mins or whatever it was. Mcglynn has worked wonders, and it’s just disappointing some of the decisions he makes. Nevertheless, he’s been our greatest manager since Houstie and what a season it has been. I do wonder tho is some of the decisions he makes maybe the reason as to why he’s 62 and managing in league 1? It’s clear to see he’s a great man manager but even he’ll be disappointed he’s not had a gig at a prem team since he was caretaker manager at hearts.
  15. Oh dear. I rate Mcglynn really really highly, but he does seem to make some clueless and mind boggling mistakes sometimes. I suppose tho, Raith fans did warn us…
  16. Jesus f**k are people actually moaning after only drawing our 6th game this season? How many did Dunfermline draw last year? 12. How many did cove draw the year before? 10. We are undefeated and on course to win this league by a canter. However, why the f**k is Mcglynn changing the keeper and not playing Hendo. Silly silly stuff. Can only hope that it’s because long has some clause in his loan deal, but deary me if that is the case why the f**k would Mcglynn sign up for that.
  17. 17 points clear. “That’s a fact” - Sir John Mcglynn.
  18. Wouldn’t call it “an absolute coup”. He’s played about 60 mins for us in total. And I must say I have been very very impressed by him. Especially in that 15 minute spell at Alloa. However, he’s had quite a few loans now and none have really worked out for him. He’s got a few months left of the season to impress and earn himself a deal with us, but he’ll need put in a right good few performances and chip in with some goals.
  19. Please do excuse me for most likely getting ahead of myself. But this is Morrisons 5th season with us. Just signed a new two year deal, so let’s say he’s with for that length of time. That’ll be 7 years he will have been with the club. If he can continue a similar goal scoring record in the championship does that mean he’s a Falkirk “legend”.
  20. I’ve always wondered is it a case of Raith chucking loads of money at it? Or do they just have a manager and a board that can identify some really good players for this level. The likes of Dylan Easton, Scott brown, Connolly were just really nifty signings. I doubt there was a long line of clubs that had bigger budgets than Raith rovers wanting to sign them. Vaughn came through their youth academy and the likes of Ashcroft, rudden, and turner have most like just seen that Raith is a good club to join at the moment. Will they really be offering these players shitloads more than Dunfermline or Patrick thistle? All being said I don’t doubt they have spent money this year but they are getting the fans through the gate to pay for all this. 3rd highest attendance in the championship I think.
  21. Add McKay and Oliver to that list. Bisland will also leave at the end of his loan.
  22. Very very narrow minded way of looking at it. Yes the full stand one does look better. However, the ultras do a fantastic job and these TIFOs do not come cheap. A full stand display costs significantly more than the section where the ultras sit. Moreover, would all of the fans in the KM7 stand have the appetite to take part in displays more frequently? Probably not. It’s great the ultras do tifo displays, no matter the size. “Full stand effort or nothing” is just ignorant to the time, cost, and effort associated with these displays.
  23. I actually don’t entirely disagree tbh. However, I wouldn’t replace him. I would 100% be giving him another contract and I would just also be looking to bring in another left back as competition. Mcann is a solid solid player. Nevertheless, he can get caught out in games and I really wasn’t that impressed with him against Hamilton back in December. I think that most people would agree that defensively he’s probably on the average side and it’s always been his attacking play that has received the most praise and deemed to be his biggest strength. However, when you look at his stats, he gets very minimal assists and goals.
  24. Heard there was genuine interest for him from other clubs.
