Looks to me like Bartley is giving this squad one more game at Peterhead. Bartley seems to think that 2 weeks intense coaching is going to make a difference. I was hoping for a couple of quality loan signing that we need before the Peterhead game but that is not going to happen now. .

Thing last night was Darvel bowling green like grass pitch it was as good as I have seen . Brilliant result for them even with a bit of money behind Darvel . Aberdeen should still not be losing that Cup Tie.

You get what you pay for . Falkirk pitch has been down for years yet right from the start you could see it was a better standard of pitch. This is why a new pitch for us has to be done right with more cushion in it like Falkirk and Raith. They even compared to Killie and Livi look to have better pitches but it will all come down to cost as most things do

Away from pitches Marvin Bartley and Ally McCoist the pundits on the Hibs v Hearts game today. If Queens play as well as Marvin talks we will do well time will tell .

Are you sure Raith pitch is so much softer has more below it ours is like playing in the Arena Car Park . I have not heard one complaint from any player about it or even Falkirk which has been down for a few years . More or less from the start players have complained about our pitch saying it is easily the worse they have played on. This makes a change normally I moan about the players on the pitch.

Think I remember when Raith got a artificial pitch the chairmen said they paid that bit extra to get high quality . It certainly looks very good night and day compared to ours.

That has been our problem none of our players like or are up to sort of fight Queens definitely not favourites.

I would rather we went back to a good grass pitch but that's not going to happen . Not a fan of artifical pitches but understand it makes sense to hire out Palmy to try and make extra income.

Hopefully after 2 weeks training with Bartley we will see a different Queens team . Hopefully more quality is added to our squad before the game . It will be a very difficult game as Peterhead will be confident after a good home win.
