Sad day for Ayr United as they are instantly relegated for allowing Robbie Muirhead to score a hat-trick against them. We are also down for losing four times in one season to Raith.

Another really flat performance at EEP and a disappointing defeat. Never felt we were going to find a second equaliser and Rovers eased to the win. Some of the performances out there suggest even the guys left weren’t match fit. Wighton in particular looked deed. Further injuries to Fisher and Breen means we have no choice but to get in a defender or two this month.

Started well and then conceded a terrible goal with Mehmet failing to collect a simple free-kick. Rovers well on top after that before they allowed Summers to just stroll through the middle of the park and have a ping. Keeper looked like he kept over half the goal open. Fisher looked like he got stamped on by Hamilton, rather than an elbow. Was raging at the physios waiting for permission to enter the pitch from the ref instead of immediately coming on to tend to him. As for the idiots throwing the pyro - just gtf.
