agree 100% i could have written the exact same post. the subs at half time were something bullen would have conjured up. feels like brown is still experimenting with his managerial style / decision making and we are some kind of stepping stone.

we really started playing long ball at the away game to morton at the start of september, which in my opinion was when the downward trend of poor performances started. regardless of formation we created less chances, but 4-3-3 really does not suit our main man dipo. 2 up front and keep it on the deck!

I would say Dundee pumped us. they pressed us hard giving us no time on the ball. we played one up front and hoofball that day too.

i think he has something to offer going forward too, but frustratingly he is always too deep on the halfway line with his back to goal and wants to pass it sideways or backwards to mcginty who blasts it out for goal kick. think he is too lightweight and knows he will get easily out muscled when going forward. does he suffer from a lack of confidence?

the atmosphere when the players left the field at half time was as toxic as i have ever felt it. after the poor preseason and that clueless 45 minutes you could feel how despondent we all felt about another awful season fighting relegation. who knows what was said at half time at Ochilview but it kickstarted where we are now. the transformation was unbelievable and totally justified the pitch invasion.

He did show good promise against hamilton, but in the game Vs partick he got absolutley rag dolled and should have been subbed at half time or earlier. we were gash in that game but a big factor in losing that game was bullen not making that change. not sure about him being any better thann what we have after that match. it certainly wouldn't have helped his confidence.
