Is it suspicious that the board have fucked over FSS just after they've taken out this loan of 350K through the Fan Bank?

Having listened to the last Falkirk FC podcast with Jamie Swinney it really does seem like what we've got just now is going to be our lot. If MacIver or Spencer get injured McGlynn's one way of playing is completely fucked, which is very worrying.
He also said we've decided to only take part in the reserve cup this year and not the reserve league so some of our youngsters will go out on loan again this season.
Goalkeeper
Nicky Hogarth
Sam Long - On loan from Lincoln City
Owen Hayward (A)
Defender
Tom Lang
Coll Donaldson
Liam Henderson
Sean Mackie
Brad Mckay
Leon Mccann
Logan Sinclair (A)Midfielder
Brad Spencer
Stephen McGinn
Finn Yeats
Ola Lawal
Aidan Nesbitt
Gary Oliver
Callumn Morrison
Calvin Miller
Alfredo Agyeman
Pearse Carroll (A)
Scott Honeyman (A)
Rhys Walker (A)
Striker
Jordan Allan
Ross MacIverAm guessing Agyeman could fill in up front if MacIver is injured. Or Oliver.

What a club, man. What a club.
If there's a club in world football less suited to fan ownership than us, I'd be amazed

Hibs under Lee Johnson are going to be the gift that keeps on giving this season. Hilariously bad.

The Big Hoose must stay open..
That's the bottom line.

Looks like they had Fyfie and Megginson missing out yesterday too. I know we “shouldn’t” be worrying about the opposition in the third tier but as you’ve rightly said, need all the possible breaks we can get.
Especially as we know a Rumarn Burrell goal is inevitable to make it 1-0

Oh and thought the singing section was really good. Definitely helped the atmosphere particularly in the first half when the game was brutal.
Well done bumfluff growers.

From a second look on the highlights
- Really brave header for the first goal. MacIvor could easily have been wiped out so fair play to him - great header.
- Their goalie is the worst I've ever seen at this level. Looked like when a defender takes over when there's a sending off
- Neither penalty claim was a penalty
- MacIvor's first half miss looked even worse. Even if he'd succeeded in cutting back on the left he'd never have got a shot away. Brutal.
- The pitch played really well even with the rain. Big difference from last season.

Agree on the part time thing. Annan went from looking organised and capable (bit Edinburgh Cityish) to a total gang after 60 minutes. Blowing out of their arse and completely incapable of getting out of their last third. Has to be at least partly fitness.

Different game second half. Annan tired really badly..played like they were into a gale force wind.
Really stepped it up though. Night and day performance fron Morrison. Excellent second half.

He has just as many poor moments as he has good ones. He’s going to delight and frustrate a lot this season
I still like him. He's really direct and will get better I think. Unless our insipid slow ponderous shite beats the spirit out of him which it might well.
Long long season ahead.

Annan were fucking dreadful for 25 minutes but looked the more likely to score after that. We're fucking shite.
McIvor has been abysmal. So has Morrison.
Incredibly I think we need to bring on Nesbitt.

Don't think today will tell us an awful lot, unless we fail to win.
Really good opening fixture..home against a relegation candidate. Should be a comfortable 2 or 3 goal win.

I think 'failure to sign a right back' is pretty low on my 'Why McGlynn is shit' list.

I don't think anyone would be surprised if we reach January and there's another dire 'we're fucked' email from the board pointing out we have a large black.hole we need new investment thos season to plug.

Wild shout to say Blaine Rowe wasn’t good enough.
Outstanding until his form dropped off like everyone else towards the end of the season.
Would take him back in an instant.
Absolutely bizarre shout. Thought Rowe was a breath of fresh air at right back. He actually made loads of great runs that Morrison fucked up the pass for or some other clogger ignored.
I'd love to have him back.

I think if we were transparent about the wages we're paying (I know we can't be) and bonuses we'd get a shock at how much we are paying the mediocre dross that's our squad. That's the problem imo.

Can't compare Agyeman with Oliver.
Oh I very much agree. You definitely can't.

Hendo in for McGinn and Miller and Oliver rotating
Oliver should be nowhere near this team unless injuries are dire.
The problem with what you are saying is it implies our manager mysteriously overnight will stop making the same selection errors he has for 12 months now.
I'm not sure where that belief comes from.

It's not the last minute penalty that's put us out, it's Lang's pass across the box in the DU game that's killed us
I don't know.. going 1-0 up changes the game completely for DU. They didn't need to bother scoring again. If Lang hadn't done that they'd have had a completely different approach for the rest of the game.

Look a different side with Henderson and Miller in there, much more pace and urgency. Will McGlynn see this and use McGinn more sparingly

This is utterly scandalous by the way, but easily solvable.
As an earlier poster said, FSS should immediately stop all contributions to the club until this decision is reversed.
Any FSS rep on the board must resign if this decision is persisted with. This is a very deliberate power move from someone who's watched Brian Cox in Succession too many times. It's not an accident and there literally is no justification for it if you understand how companies work.
I completely understand why FSS contributors are utterly fuming.
