Feels like there's actually a point to going up with this squad. Because it will be very very competitive in the Championship.
We could conceivably have scraped up one of these last few seasons but done so knowing we needed 10 new players in the summer
We already have a squad if we can keep it that will challenge for the playoffs in the league above us.

I've watched the highlights a few times and I'm still trying to work out what the Cove defence are claiming for at our second goal.
I particularly enjoyed the guy to Hendo's right who stood doing f**k all instead of attempting to actually stop him scoring then waved his arms like one of the landing dudes in Top Gun

Thought McGinn's bit about prioritising points over the unbeaten record was bang on. It would be nice to go a season without losing but we need to keep playing with freedom and the fear of losing could dent our attacking play. Just aim to win every game and see where we are come May.
If the league is won early it's almost impossible to keep an unbeaten record anyway.
You used to see it with Celtic when they were cantering to the Premier. Post split the players often had one eye on the beach.
Being unbeaten until the league is mathematically over is more possible. Quite fancy us to do that.

I don't think either of our keepers are very good. It's our weakest point in the XI by far. Don't think there's either better than the other .
We'll need and get a new one next season.

My old man usually doesn't show much emotion with players other than slating them but he genuinely winced when lang went down.

Gravity is absolutely no match for Tam Lang

Love how Aiden Nesbitt has come on this season. Genuinely now someone you can rely on in important games.

Had a feeling today was going to be dire. One we need to grind out a late win in.

Merry Christmas Bairns..
For those of you who don't know the religious significance of the day, it's when Mr and Mrs Lang gave birth to a son who they wanted to call a Spanish sounding name but an angel told them He should be called Tam.

For me the focus should be on funding Tam Lang on a 46 year contract at 10K a week.
Needs to be longer

Definitely. Last time I was down there some mob called Only Fans were signing up for Tam Lang sponsorship.

Edinburgh FC in dire trouble and this signing shows it. Their fans on their forum think he is a great signing for us (but say "he needs to screw the nut" whatever that means).
Given he allegedly has the Riordan genes its mildly impressive if he has opposable thumbs

That’s the social club of the original football club from the 1920’s and 30’s. They gave the current club permission to become Edinburgh City but there’s no further connection than that.
Ah thanks.

I live a stone's throw from Meadowbank.
Did you make any money from that shady pub off Sleigh drive on matchdays?
Driving past a few times I saw EC signs outside.
Relegation to League 2 would be beat for all concerned. Trying to maintain a wage bill like Edinburgh have on those crowds with that setup is insanity.

So did Edinburgh free him in the summer then?

Hat trick in this from last year
Goals from this season linked below
Didn't bother watching past the point where I saw he had a sleeve tattoo.
That will do for me. Will fit in well.

Well there's your back up striker confirmed. 8 goals and 4 assists last season is better reading than his stats this season. Always looked a bit of a pest who isn't afraid to put themselves about, hence the 7 yellow cards in the league this season.
Would have to think Jordan Allen will move on this window. Bit of a shame for him as his career with us has never taken off but he's clearly not too bad a player in the right setup

Hmm, I suppose the low weekly wage is balanced by the length of contract.
Don't get me wrong - the big man will still have plenty to offer in 2070 but I feel more in a player/coach capacity then

Think the Ultras/young lads have made a massive difference to this season home and away. You can see the players have really appreciated it.
But we need to stamp out this fighting nonsense before we go up. That's just arsehole behaviour and will lead to some sair faces before too long. At best.

can't complain about poking fun.
Thought Falkirk were levels above us today.
For anyone still thinking Accies fans are knicker wetting about Rankin please look no further than that performance.
No plan B, set pieces awful, and subs which do nothing to strengthen the team.
We've not lost the league today but we have a lot of work to do if we want to give it a go.
With this run of form we should be out of sight in the league. I think it's pretty impressive Hamilton have stuck with us
