Unspeakably bad.
It's not just the embarrassing result. It's the financial loss. Thos could be 2 or 3 players in the summer now lost.
Got exactly what we deserved today. Nothing.
Some wild overreaction to today.
An experiment that went wrong but unbeaten run preserved. Worth finding out what the second string could do when pressure was put on them - not very much as it turns out.
Everything is copacetic
Adding nothing to the thread but the more I hear about what a total c**t Hartley was in general whilst at the club the luckier we are to be shot of him.
It's disgraceful he lasted so long.
Feels like there's actually a point to going up with this squad. Because it will be very very competitive in the Championship.
We could conceivably have scraped up one of these last few seasons but done so knowing we needed 10 new players in the summer
We already have a squad if we can keep it that will challenge for the playoffs in the league above us.
I particularly enjoyed the guy to Hendo's right who stood doing f**k all instead of attempting to actually stop him scoring then waved his arms like one of the landing dudes in Top Gun
If the league is won early it's almost impossible to keep an unbeaten record anyway.
You used to see it with Celtic when they were cantering to the Premier. Post split the players often had one eye on the beach.
Being unbeaten until the league is mathematically over is more possible. Quite fancy us to do that.
I don't think either of our keepers are very good. It's our weakest point in the XI by far. Don't think there's either better than the other .
We'll need and get a new one next season.
Merry Christmas Bairns..
For those of you who don't know the religious significance of the day, it's when Mr and Mrs Lang gave birth to a son who they wanted to call a Spanish sounding name but an angel told them He should be called Tam.
I live a stone's throw from Meadowbank.
Did you make any money from that shady pub off Sleigh drive on matchdays?
Driving past a few times I saw EC signs outside.
Relegation to League 2 would be beat for all concerned. Trying to maintain a wage bill like Edinburgh have on those crowds with that setup is insanity.
Would have to think Jordan Allen will move on this window. Bit of a shame for him as his career with us has never taken off but he's clearly not too bad a player in the right setup
