  1. I follow your argument and logic fellah. think what we are debating is unforeseen circumstances that were never ever planned for. it’s created a paradox - and left the door open for a cascade of should’ve done better, should’ve done and should’ve done this!! im sure it’ll be resolved. Doubt if the resolution will keep everyone though.
  2. That’s quite a bit of detail. Can accept those criteria. im just wondering - where do the actual fans get an input or be quoted . I know it’s through the Club committee,,, but that’s another story. Does anyone anywhere have an accurate number of actual spectator attendance across the various leagues?
  3. No sure if that’s a compliment or an a challenge. I’m taking it positively. Trust me - I don’t think that we’ve ever chatted before - I’m brand new to P&B. Actually, I’m finding it interesting and wide ranging on a lot of things. I’m just a wee bit unsure on how to use it just now.
  4. We are all aware of the term ‘Elite Professional Sports’ Is it really applicable to levels 7/6/5/4,,,,,,, or higher? I’m struggling to accept that it does, however I admit that the word elite is probably clouding my thoughts. When Elite is removed from the statement we simply have - Professional Sport! Does this term then apply to EoS/WoS/LL/HL/SSL etc? what happens when Amateur Teams are involved - the word professional is against their founding principle. Recent applications to EoS May include amateur teams - we will soon find out. However, Queens Park - Hmmmm!!! I’d appreciate if anyone could give an explanation.
  5. Whilst we're at it, the SOS and NCL are quite small leagues. Maybe we can merge the two? Stranger things have happened.
  6. I thought the doomsday scenario was actually 7 relegated. Your explanation cheers things up for one club - whoever they may be. Imagine finishing in 7th from bottom and being relegated. Brutal!!
  7. It’s very interesting isn’t it? Is it a case of simply expanding Conf A and Conf B? Or, will there be an additional Conf C? Could there a geographical split? Will the Premier survive as it is? it’s going to be an interesting couple of months,
  8. Well I don’t think that anyone is going to say that they’ve enjoyed competing this season. Personally I think it’s a bit bizarre to think that matters have been well handled. I think an awful lot of people have forgotten that the at any level of the game it’s about enjoyment. Nobody has enjoyed this season.
  9. There is simply No Training!! if 15 ‘friends’ want to participate in socially distanced exercise then that’s permissible. On the other hand - travel to this non contact socially distanced exercise is another can o worms
  10. Surely it’s time!!!!

is anyone really enjoying participating in this futile ongoing fiasco.

Stop now. Plan for next year.

Lots of restructuring will happen. Some Senior management boards have been less than impressive.

  11. The WoSFL have at least signalled the intentions of the Board. at least ‘‘tis direction allows the various Club Committees to work from a basis. It’s got to be said - some clubs made a smart decision at the start of the season and didn’t take part. if things restart; it could become a bigger nightmare for club finances - players & managements wages, expenses, dues and fees will then have to be paid. All for what??? A very hollow league played under conditions only wartime could compare.
