  1. The Dundonald fixtures are dead easy - they only have to play everyone above them, except LTHV who pumped them.
  2. That’s interesting - why wouldn’t every club be entitled to vote. Or should the question be which Clubs are getting a vote
  3. Hmmm I’m just trying to be helpful and informative. It was in a press interview a month ago. I suppose PCR testing has reduced in cost - but couldn’t say; not too interested. Strangely not a lot of comments were aired at that time.
  4. You’ll be right. But why do EoS say there’s lab costs of £1750 approx per club per game. Or Mibby I’ve been misinformed. It happens
  5. Please can someone explain where the thousands and thousands of pounds to pay for testing will come from. What if a club simply cannot afford the cost??
  6. Based on your innate inner knowledge of every individual committee/Board covering the almost 50 clubs. Aye right!!! In this game the left hand certainly never knows what the right hand is doing. The recent Dundonald foray into options illustrated some very strange clubs agreeing/disagreeing with them.
  7. Patience ,,,, 40 hours or so and hopefully this ridiculous season will come to end
  8. Mibby not every player will still be under contract. And as quoted many times - prevent any chance of self isolation
  9. Recommendation sounds good to me!! A total no brainer
  10. Sort of very calm and quiet....I’m assuming the lack of any official statement is responsible (or should that be irresponsible).
  11. Their time will come. No doubt about that. It’s an unfortunate set of circumstances for everyone
  12. We are where we are,,,,,they have to follow the guidance and apply it as best they can to finding a solution. Double fugue maulings week in week out - that one has me beaten.
  13. Can’t say that I find any of the previous 50 or so rants in the slightest too informative, interesting or even worthy of reading. What a waste of time. Currently we are in the most difficult of situations, the EoS Board are trying to move things forward. Not everyone will like the outcome - too many insular and petty opinions. Rants are ok now and again; but personal ones are wee bit boring ,,,, Here’s silly me thinking that the Forum heading was named EoS Structure
  14. We need a sense of fun it’s a bit clinical and doomsday together with some conspiracy theory’s thrown in.
  15. Ok - you cleared that bit up. But we are where we are. All we can hope for is that our governing body have a good management system to handle these extreme conditions. Hopefully they will in the main be supported by the members. We have to make the best of what we’ve got. This season - dozens of us have all had to put in far more hours into helping all our clubs survive : more fund raising in difficult times, learning how to handle new rules and regs, Covid training, so many additional things that nobody expected to ever have to do. My personal opinion is that this has been a miserable season and I’m glad to draw a line under it. Hopefully there’s no real casualties in terms of financial loss or personal tragedy
  16. I’m really struggling to follow your negativity. It’s not really helping and it’s certainly not informative. It’s all your own subjective opinion based on whatever source that you use. It’s obviously superior level knowledge to that which is being used by both the Scot and Westminster Govs. Why not share all your data and information that base your opinions on.
  17. Aye ‘Elite Professional Sport’ what an embarrassment that label has been.
  18. I think you are under a misconception. Nobody wants null void, nobody wants stop start seasons, nobody wants to have clubs on tenterhooks awaiting decisions which neither clubs or players or supporters have no control over. We simply have to follow the rules. All the rules, be they Scot Gov or EoS. The EoS directives up until the Dundonald B activity were clear - less than 50% results in N & V. The caveat that was attached was that they were awaiting a clarification statement on resumption or not from today’s announcement. As far as I’m aware - the process is crystal clear . I’m sure most sensible folks would have been looking forward to either resuming either in full or part if that was at all possible. Clearly it’s not. what will be will be.
  19. Today’s FM Statement was as expected ; no change to current adult contact sport restrictions. Tier levels and travel remains status quo. Hmmmm....it’s now over to you guys at EoS Board.
  20. I keep coming back this post. I’ve read it several times. It’s got more sensible content than most of the previous 5 pages combined. It’s about people, it’s about the clubs and it’s about the significance of football during this current period. It’s also quite direct in calling out those who simply turn the page - ‘nothing to do with me’ waiting for something of little or low importance being aired, after which they’ll all come out the woodwork to put in their tuppence worth. No matter what happens, good clubs and good people will survive.
  21. Think that’s beyond many on this page Allan C But never give up hope,,,
